Yeah I'm not sure these "woe is me" headlines is what Adam needs, even if the article itself makes some good points. Most people only read the headlines... I was thinking this especially when he's trying to promote the new song.. will the article be helpful or not in some way? It's good though that it has the video for Feel Something in the article..

I wonder what Adam would think of the author's characterization in the above article of his career as "Lambert’s album sales have since experienced a downward trend, and he’s not exactly a household name either, even after performing with Queen at the Oscars this week.." Would he be okay with it, or is would he cringe? I think It's a very honest look at Adam's solo career.. He has the voice of a thousand angels and many of his songs are wonderful so where is the respect and devotion to this American icon. He deserves to be at the top of the charts, to finally get the recognition that his talent deserves.. He needs to be heard. The article says so over and over again.. BTW Adam now down to the 90s on ITunes...not where this song belongs. Yes Adam is successful, but if he keeps changing record companies and management,I believe he feels that he could make a greater impact on the music world.. He is just that GREAT. Hopefully his new team will give Adam the boost he's looking for. IMO it hasn't been a good promo and PR strategy to separate his solo work and QAL performances but that is changing. The recent articles and social media efforts are painting a more complete picture of his body of work. And for several months he's been booked for appearances with broad visibility. It takes a steady stream of well timed promotion to a broad audience and this new team understands his unique artistry.

Plus, to those who are familiar with Adam, I don’t think it’s a secret that his name isn’t necessarily as well-known as othets. This article points out his vast talents, so for those not familiar, it will hopefully intrigue them enough to check him out, and it’s a reminder for those who may be aware but not invested. Anything that may make someone stop and take a fresh listen seems like great PR to me. I don’t think it’s harmful to point out the truth. Of course, I’m a lifelong Cubs fan who has rooted for them through thick and thin, regardless of public opinion!

Don't remember if we've seen this... stats coming in for the BoRhap digital movie. I'm sure we'll get worldwide sales upcoming. www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/bohemian-rhapsody-takes-official-film-chart-number-1-becoming-the-fastest-selling-digital-download-movie-ever-in-the-uk__25675/Bohemian Rhapsody is the champion on this week's Official Film Chart, climbing to Number 1 on the same week it picks up four Oscars at the 91st Academy Awards. The Freddie Mercury biopic lands at the top on downloads alone, with more than double the sales of this week’s Number 2. OfficialCharts.com can also reveal Bohemian Rhapsody is the UK’s fastest-selling digital download movie of all time, selling nearly 265,000 digital copies in its first eight days. It narrowly beats Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War which racked up just under 253,000 digital downloads in its first eight days last Summer.

Maybe it will move members of the gay community to step up and support Adam and other gay singers. It's a gay periodical Adam is not a Diva and the major support and gushing will always be with and for them. Adam needs to continue to concentrate on universal appeal. Anyone and everyone from any community who wants to support him will and should. Imo, the biggest thing that has held him back is tepid radio play in the US. As far as Adam wanting to keep his music separate from Queen, are you talking about in the past? Because when he started making new music, after TOH, he said in a interview that he had changed his view on that and wanted to capture some of the Queen audience because their reaction to him had been so great. Even said some of his new music would be more Queen(ish) and alt, with real instruments and a return to some glamrock. I really hope he still feels that way. Because many who have avoided the dance in the club music and never tried to appeal to just the teens have had some great success with all generations buying their music. I know it is his call but with all the interest in new music from him and the positive reaction to Feel Something, it still feels a bit of a waste of such great publicity not to see exactly what this song could have done. When the new single is released later the newness of his return will be missing.

I played “Feel Something” for friends for whom I’ve been playing Adam’s music for years, and for the first time (after just hearing a few bars) immediately said they are going to buy it from ITunes! That’s awesome! I have a friend coming over later today, and I’m excited to play it for her, too. She bought some QAL tickets off of me a few years ago just for the fun of taking her hubby to Detroit for an adventure and wound up loving it and Adam’s voice. For some reason, though, she’s never connected to his individual work. Knowing her tastes, I think she’s going to love this one. Plus, she’s a counselor, so I think she will appreciate the heartfelt expression. Thanks for sharing! It’s always fun to hear when people are won over!! No matter what the taste in music, it’s difficult to deny his unique vocal talent. This song, more than most of his, I feel, showcases the beauty and subtle nuances of his gorgeous voice!! Yes, for sure it showcases the beauty and subtle nuances of his unique voice as you so eloquently put it . How wonderful and brave of him to bypass the demands of the music industry that thinks of profits and not artistry, and this first song from the new album shows the power of following one’s inner truth. How wonderful it is that his partnership with Queen gives him the financial freedom to do this All us fans are in for a real treat as the rest of the world discovers this treasure hidden in plain sight

People don't often make that leap from Queen's Adam to Solo Adam.. There are millions of fans who might like to know that they are one in the same person.. IMHO,Adam tends to be so respectful, that he may be limiting his solo career,in terms of getting new fans.
