He's completely living off the Queen name and the fact he was chosen by Roger to front QE! I read he had a falling out with Roger and was let go! Now he's formed his own tribute band but I don't like how he does it. He acts like he's Freddie himself. I actually don't think he sound's that much like Freddie, his voice is similar without the power but nothing else! A lot of his support comes from a group called 'We Love Christian Music'. That kind of tells you about his appeal. If he really deludes himself into thinking he's Freddie, I can't wait to see what happens when he starts wearing jumpsuits. LOL Wonder if AT&T has taught his fans to power listen to YouTube vids. One thing I know for sure, he doesn't have the chops to front the actual Queen band the way Adam does. The way his fans constantly diss Adam on every Adam and Queen video really pisses me off! He could never do what Adam does, period! Love your reference to AT&T!!!!!

Probably not a popular opinion but I find the graphic version of fanfic to be a bit much... I can see how it can be too much for some, and honestly I did not love all of Sharka's art in the past, but when it comes to Adam and Javi I happily take in everything that reflects their love for each other haha, at least for now. It's just been too long a drought for me and I am very much in a celebratory mood still, also because I believe that being in love affects Adam's energy toward his art in a positive way. About the classification of "graphic version of fanfic"... not sure if Sharka's latest piece really falls into that category. Their story is is as real as it gets. That's what I was trying to say, too...fanfic to me is the ridiculous Adommy stories, not Adam and Javi.

I agree. I think there are at least 3 gay guys in the top 20. Idol showed smooches between one and his partner. I don't have a favorite yet....but Uche' is entertaining for sure! All the backstory sob stories are almost too much IMO....but I realize that's what they do. We have a boy, Walker, from Birmingham in the Top 20. He's cute, but not sure how far he might advance. There were more than that the season Candice Glover won and people were complaining. Have not heard any complaints this time tho. So maybe that is progress. But they were all voted out pretty fast last season (Ada and Jurnee were added into the top 10 by the judges). So we will need to wait until the public vote to see how many survive. When the public had a chance to vote the last time, Ada was gone and Jurnee soon followed. I noticed that Billboard tweeted about Jeremiah today. His backstory may make him sympathic and he's caught Billboard's eye. Uche' is a hoot....but he may prove to be too much for the voting public after a while. Then there's Ryan Hammond who's in a relationship. I wouldn't be surprised if maybe another one or two might be gay as well. I don't have a favorite right now. www.billboard.com/articles/news/pride/8505054/jeremiah-lloyd-harmon-fleetwood-mac-landslide-cover-american-idol-video?utm_source=twitter

My heart may expand with the chibis which imagine Adam and Javi as a conglomeration of their individual posts, but I can appreciate why someone may only want to see a chibi of an actual photograph. (Like, maybe, don't rush it.) But I don't mind what is posted. I think that Adam is experienced enough with his relationship with the fan base to take control as he sees fit.

Words do matter. This slur appears to be an internet hiphop meme. Javi posted it six years ago so it's not likely he will take it down.
What concerns me more is the trigger those words had to cause you recall your time in the "Deep South" as if racism and sexism don't happen any where else.
At any rate, Javi found it funny. I don't beleive he racist or sexist.

I was bored and decided to scroll through Javi’s Instagram while I waited for laundry to finish. It is pretty far down his pictures, like Row 104-105 or so. Middle picture—you’ll know it by the picture of a white dog on it. The caption: NOT okay, don’t care who you are, where you are, what age you are. Blatantly racist and sexist. I spent through my teen years in the Deep South, many of my relatives are still there. Believe me, I have heard some slurs in my time, and this is right up there. Imagine if fans found a post/picture like this on Adam’s Instagram? Zac Efron’s? Liam Hemsworth’s? You get the drift. And age isn’t an excuse. I hope Adam finds it and has Javi take it down. And no, I didn’t have one thing against Javi. Was actually even scrolling through these pictures because I found him rather beautiful. I wouldn’t post the pic here if I could bcs people can either look or not. And in a society where many people, including Adam, are fighting for respect, equality, and inclusivity, words matter, a lot. So he had a post about a White Dog? I don't follow the guy. Being Straight Guy I am not really interested in Adams personal life, or the company he chooses to keep. But that is his perogitive, what he chooses to Have on his IG. And I am sure Adam doesen't think it is responsibility to monitor his page. Or tell him to delete content. I agree this would be different if Adam posted something derogotory. But as it is I don't see an issue here.

Just found this video comparing MM and Adam singing Queen songs. It has them doing the same phrases from the same songs, live, so it is the best comparison video I have seen. Since they are mostly singing the same notes, some folks may say they sound very similar. To my ear, however, singing the same notes and phrases, back to back, emphasizes the difference in their voices and technique. 1. MM's voice sounds more tinny, like I am listening on a cheap player with little bass or midrange, or like listening to a little transistor radio back in the old days. Adam's voice is full, rich, round, and resonant, like a high end stereo system. 2. MM's pitch is if-fy at times. Generally he is on pitch, but then there are notes that are slightly to cringingly off. Adam is spot on, pitch wise. 3. Adam sounds more polished, more consistent, more in control. His mastery of vocal technique really shows. MM, not so much. Good for a rock singer, I guess, but not consistent in tone or control. Which may make MM sound more like he is doing a live performance, and Adam like it is recorded in a studio.... even tho' they are both live. This may be why some folks prefer MM. He sounds less... perfect. I don't mean to slam MM. He is very successful doing what he is doing. But, when set in contrast with Adam's vocals, there were times that I actually winced. I would not enjoy seeing him in concert. What do y'all think? youtu.be/KN-x1keXiJ0

What do y'all think? youtu.be/KN-x1keXiJ0I've watched this video several times and I just find Martel painful to listen to and I mean it sounds as if he is straining to hit notes. He chokes on his high notes and ending phrases. I really don't hear much of a resemblance to Freddie. Freddie had raw power and knew how to handle his range. I also hate the way he stiffly paces on stage. The ABTD is just horrible and the crowd didn't react at all. All I want to know is WHAT does Celine see in his performance. I think his normal voice is decent but he is really pushing to get the Freddie sound. A rock voice can sound raw but most of those singers are still performing so apparently they knew what they were doing. Martel sounds like vocal chord problems waiting to happen.
