For those interested in the 100+ pages of this.... www.courthousenews.com/2011/03/18/MusicBiz.pdfI found it interesting that the screen caps they used to prove that the distributor wasn't paying them all included Glambert comments about it being an unauthorized album. The total level of unprofessionalism is also kind of shocking. I have downloaded several other filings but there is no more info than what is in the original filing. Mostly technical corrections. Yeah, the emails from the writer guy all being in the "haven't heard from you please call" variety and the distributor's all "dumbass illegal alien from NZ can't make me do squat". I think he quotes the Cooke singer guy too but spells it wrong.

(Although I will say for the record that, in much the way that two wrongs don't make a right, additive sleezes do not negate sleeze-oidness in any way)

Hard to believe that Burtscher turned over the second album to Rene Moore -- Steve Cooke tracks -- when he had not gotten paid for Take One. I guess when you are a brilliant songwriter and producer, you do not need to be a competent business person.
