Thanks for the empathy guys? It's been a bit rough with no end in sight. But the GREAT Halloween pics have helped a ton. And the MY LOVE vampire/werewolf pic was worth the price of this I Pad alone. ;D  ;D |

Hi guys. I'm in a kind of hell right now. Trees brought down power line right in front of my front door and no one can reach PPL Electric. Downed trees and wires all over! Trees also ripped the cable line from my house and phone lines are down. Entire area is a disaster zone. So - no heat, no water, no light, no Internet. But the impotent thing is WHAT'S NEW WITH ADAM? I'm typing this on my new I Pad and don't know what I'm doing! Oh my jazzrocks...bless your heart! You were so sweet to remember me during my tornado ordeal and I really appreciated it. I'm sending you lots and lots of hugs and positive thoughts. I hope your situation is resolved quickly. Thank goodness you have an I Pad!!!  |

Just had to drop in to say, NoAngel, I really liked your essay... and your last line especially. Yes, Halloween is when everyone comes out to play with Adam. But for me, the attraction is that with Adam I've found a reason to play again-- every day! He's brought an added layer of fun to my life that wasn't there before. Don't get me wrong, I had a good life and plenty of fun before Adam. But this is different. It's a new world, a sexy obsession, a bunch of great new friends with whom I have both serious and frivolous things in common, and travel opportunities that have nothing to do with work or family-- it's just for me! Before this world opened up I was rather serious and proper and cool. I'm still like that, but-- Adam has scraped off the layers of brittle, built up varnish and revealed the crazy untamed wild child within. I love it. It's the sweet, chocolate core within the hard candy shell. So maybe, for me, my RL persona is now my "disguise." My costume, if you will. Thanks to Adam, my true self has been reawakened and liberated. I will never let it go again. , I LOVE THIS POST!!! ...saving it forever!! Thank you!! I have been loving all those pics...especially the cat ones :-)
I am taking a break...one of many....from packing...sigh. Movers are here at 9am tomorrow and right now it feels like I have way too much to do yet. But it will all work out...still...this is the place where it really looks bad...;-{
