I had to look this up, but the line "Tony went to fight in Belfast Rudi stayed at home to starve" is from the song "Star" from David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust album... Oh my god, listen to those lyrics!!!!!!!! "I can make my transformation as a rock n roll star" the whole lyrics are written for this day...... wowowowowow! ETA: lol Q3 you beat me to it and you got the whole lyrics, I was just listening to it three times in a row....

Maybe an innocent reference to Belfast, but why choose a Bowie song? In the back of my mind, I've been thinking the secrecy is because Bowie will be there and Adam might sing with him. There has to be something BIG about this performance. Otherwise, I see no other reason for all the secrecy about the Queen performance or Adam's performance. I think Eber could be referring to himself "staying at home to starve" -- he seems to kid Adam a lot about his trips when he is left behind. Wasn't the Montreal concert where Eber and Neil both gave him a hard time about not being there? All in good fun. Cracks me up. Yes, I'm sure you are true because the other side of my brain says, "Why would they have Bowie on if it is a Queen tribute?" :-/

But Eber shot down the theory.

Like all fathers, Eber is a protective Dad... I like a bit of appropriate protectiveness in a Dad or a brother or an Alisan. Adam's the protective type himself - its very wolflike

UH, because Bowie did Under Pressure with Freddie. But Eber shot down the theory. That's just because we got too close to the truth 8-) That's my reality and I'm sticking with it.
