Happy 3-11 day. Today is an amazing day. There will not be another 11.11.11 until November 11, 2111. And today is possibly the start of the Age of Aquarius – the new age that will last about 2,150. Now I figured out that some magic must be able to happen today.
I searched there ancient Egyptian texts, Mayan Codices, antiquarian books locked in library vaults, and I finally found the key to the puzzle. It was hidden in the musical “Hair”. Today, we can take travel back in time to the day Hair debuted off Broadway, October 17, 1967.
Today is a day that we can look back.
Now Time Travel is an odd thing. You can go back in time, but you go as you are today, not as you were in the past. (Otherwise no one could ever go back before they were born, and we know that people can go back centuries.)
And when you go back, things always seem very different than we remember.
Here are today’s big stories….
- The Battle of Ong Thanh (Vietnam)
- On October 17, 1967, China revealed its true military power.
- "Hair" premieres on Broadway
- Barbra Streisand stars on "Belle of 14th Street" special on CBS
- Memorial service for Brian Epstein at New London Synagogue
- Pete Knight in X-15 reaches 85 km
- USSR performs nuclear test at Eastern Kazakh/Semipalitinsk USSR
- Henry Pu Yi, last emperor of China, dies at 61
On TV tonight
Joey Bishop Show
Episode Summary: Joey's guests are actor Ernest Borgnine, Billy "Mr. Black Magic" Daniels, singer Kaye Stevens, famous attorney Melvin Belli and comedian Jack De Leon.
#1 Song - US: Lulu - To Sir with Love
OK let’s see – Vietnam, cold war nuclear fears, Joey Bishops and Lulu? Maybe 2011 isn’t so bad!!
[Hoping in my time machine and headed to 11.11.11 fast as I can. Perhaps it is better to remember it as a vague memory. Live in the NOW!]

The Dawning of the “Age of Aquarius”
11.11.11 by Q3, extract from Wikipedia – edited.
The Age of Aquarius is beginning – a new age in the cycle of astrological ages. Each astrological age is approximately 2,150 years long, on average. And we are currently shifting into the Aquarian Age.
Ages are believed by some astrologers to affect mankind while other astrologers believe the ages correlate to the rise and fall of mighty civilizations and cultural tendencies. Aquarius traditionally "rules" electricity, computers, flight, democracy, freedom, humanitarianism, idealists, modernization, astrology, nervous disorders, rebels and rebellion. Other keywords and ideas believed associated with Aquarius are nonconformity, philanthropy, veracity, perseverance, humanity and irresolution.
The appearance or elevation in status of many of these Aquarian developments over the last few centuries is considered by many astrologers to indicate the proximity of the Aquarian age. There is no uniform agreement about the relationship of these recent Aquarian developments and the Age of Aquarius. Some astrologers believe that the influence of a New Age is experienced before it arrives because of a cuspal effect or Orb of Influence. Other astrologers believe the appearance of Aquarian developments, indicate the actual arrival of the Age of Aquarius.
The expression Age of Aquarius in popular culture usually refers to the heyday of the hippie and New Age movements in the 1960s and 1970s. The New Age movement is more accurately a phenomenon and yet seen by many as the harbinger of this future changeover of values associated with the arrival or imminent arrival of the Aquarian age.
Although more rock than New Age in genre, the 1967 musical Hair, with its opening song "Aquarius" and the memorable line "This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius," brought the Aquarian age concept to the attention of audiences worldwide. However, the song further defines this dawning of the age within the first lines: "When the Moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars; then peace will guide the planets, and love will steer the stars." According to Neil S*&@^#r, the words are "astrological gibberish" as Jupiter aligns with Mars several times a year and the Moon is in the 7th House for about two hours every day. These lines are considered by many to be merely poetic license, though some people take them literally.

Adam Lambert On ‘Majors & Minors’: Watch A Preview
When Adam Lambert isn’t doing fabulous things like performing with the members of Queen at the MTV Europe Music Awards, picking up MTV O Awards and posing for colorful magazine photo shoots, he likes to give back to the kiddies. Case in point: you may recall us mentioning over the summer that the Glam One would put on his mentor hat for the hopefuls on the Hub TV Network’s Majors & Minors. Well, surprise — the episode airs this Sunday! Get an early peek as he sings “Whataya Want From Me” with the gang below.
Awww. We like how cute Grace is as she gushes over Adam. Our only gripe: too bad that new single got pushed back. This would have been a nice bit of promo for it.
We know, we know — patience is a virtue.
