Loved the song and the singing, not so much the green lipstick lol. But I'm not a particular fan of the Bowie aesthetic, nor of his voice.

I think you find a lot of the comments you are missing in yesterday’s feed....that is certainly where I did my gushing! I loved his look....it was sooo appropriate! He was totally amazing! There were over 30 tracks and a huge roster of phenomenally talented and tested musicians who were chosen for their talent...not their hits as would be here or so often. It was a huge compliment for him to be included in that roster of musicians, and he has garnered his full share of good reviews. The attention and praise from this bunch is far more credible than a twitter trend for an evening.
I doubt it is easy to cut through the Twitter verse noise in these US political times.

I think he was putting on his “character hat” and part of that is dressing the character. He was being the Starman and that’s how he dressed. It’s what Simon complained about on AI. You’re very theatrical. Yes he is . That is another reason he is a star. He is not just a great singer. He sings from the soul.

I loved his eyes - appreciated all those observations - thanks - yeah, silver lips, that would have been very cool, too. It’s a sweet and trippy song.

Did other people like Adam’s “Starman”? No one else seems to be commenting ...His look - like? No? (Is it me? 😕) I will always be a fan of Adam's voice and his unique gift to interpret songs. Starman was theatrical as it probably should be, but I wasn't particularly fond of his look. I found the make-up and the lipstick very distracting, even for a Bowie celebration. That's just me.
