No surprise at all - but Glastonbury has just officially been cancelled for the second summer...as have all other festivals in the U.K. Seems certain that QALs won’t go ahead. Wondering if they will just roll the tickets on again for another year - or if 2022 will seem like a bridge too far for Brian and Roger.

Great to see that review of Ratatouille! I'm a Chicagoan and I missed that one somehow.
Love hearing Isaiah speak so kindly about Adam. Adam was his jump to fame! Cool that Adam has taken him backstage on QAL shows. Adam sure knows how to make friends and keep them.
My hopes for this year's QAL tour are not high. It just doesn't sound realistic that the virus will be under control by the time the tour rolls around. It's like SophieB said. Brian and Roger don't have endless time to keep pushing this tour another year ahead. That's just being realistic. I know how much they want to do the tour.

It's depressing to think of another summer with no concerts or travel but the worst is that Bri and Roger have limited years left to tour. It worries me for Adam as well, because a good deal of his income and recognition in the past 5 years has been because he's the front man for Queen. Realistically he's not and will probably never be at the solo "fame" level of people like Harry Styles, Sam Smith, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and all the new hot stars, so with Queen gone, and no hit records, his concert tours will more likely than not stay in small venues - which is less profitable. Hopefully, his other projects will take off.

I'm realistic too but I have never been comfortable trying to put a time on another's life or career. But I am also hopeful. Brian is 73 and a year younger than Cher. Paul is 78 and Mick is 77 so Brian and Roger are almost babies, lol. So if they want to tour, and are in good health, I see no reason for it to end even if the summer tour is cancelled.
Adam is likely already financially secure. He made 5 or 6 million on each of his solo tours according to Forbes. Not Queen money but pretty good and he never really relied on album sales. And with his other projects and popularity, he should be fine with his level of touring when QAL ends. Hopefully QAL will continue tho for several more years.
