Ok, we need a good full recording from today. Also hope for the repeat tomorrow, again with good recording. i wish Oliver would’ve IGed the whole thing for us I wasn't on the livestream...did he sing the whole song, or an abbreviated version? |

Wow. Just...wow. I'm not even an opera fan, but that was extraordinary. It makes me wonder what kind of career Adam could have had if he'd decided to become an opera singer - with his voice, his looks, and his flair for drama, he would seem to be custom-made for that genre. Selfishly, I'm happy he didn't go in that direction, but it's an interesting alternate universe scenario. Years ago Angelina Kalahari (for newbies, a professional opera singer and Adam fan) told me that if Adam had gone the route of opera instead of pop/rock, he would have been world renowned, at the top of the field. Listening to him sing the most famous tenor operatic song, I have to believe her. Interesting to me is how different his voice sounds singing this. A different color, darkness, vibrato, and very good pronunciation of Italian (as far as I know). I don't think I've ever heard of another singer that has so many different colors to his voice...it's extraordinary. |

Freddie loved opera. He wanted to be an opera singer. He sang with an opera diva. But he never, by a long shot, sang opera convincingly. If he is listening from beyond, he is probably cursing Adam in admiration.

He did, but with no choir parts. He started a Cappalla…. Was amazing |

…my body is tingling and feeling overwhelmed at the pure talent and at the “one in a billion voice”. Never heard that side of Adam’s voice.
The power…the depth, the breath control…no words…but my emotions are all over the place.

Nessun Dorma full song (I think) and good sound! Damn - Adam is fearless. L Let's take a famous aria, throw it in the middle of an already demanding Queen concert and knock it out of the park. Also where did that yummy rich lower register come from. Loving 40 year old Adam's vocals. |
