So nice to see so much promo and stats about Adam. He has been and is working very hard and doing his thing so the attention and praise for him is much deserved.

8. ADAM LAMBERT
After the Spanish Pop/Porn Star, we have Adam Lambert, known for American Idol and serving mainstream pop. His inspirations are obviously George Michael and Queen. Below his brand new song at time of writing. “Holding out for a Hero”.

Thank you, Cassie, please clarify, by the artist do you mean the original artist? So, for ex. Bonnie Tyler would get the money, or would Adam get the money for the cover, or both? I am just curious because it is confusing. As I understand it, the song's writers get payment when an artist records and sells the song they wrote. For example, Pink gets a small piece of the pie when people buy WWFM recorded by Adam. HOFAH was recorded by Bonnie Tyler, but it was written by Jim Steinman and Dean Pitchford. They get paid for Adam's use of their song, not Bonnie. Of course, Adam gets a majority of the sales for the song he recorded. But composers can actually make good money over time, especially if a lot of artists record a version of their song. Imagine how much Paul McCartney has gotten for writing Yesterday.

Sure hope Fairyland gets a good reception at Sundance. It's a very prestigious event. It would give Adam some attention, too.
