while it is great to see a conversation about opportunities for gay actors. It would have been nice if there had been the same emphasis on gay recording artists in the media. Sorta like limited opportunities for gay actors. Yes you have a few who break thru and get great radio play but not that many in a big way. I remember when billboard was talking about great albums. They mentioned Adam's Trespassing being the first #1 BB200 album by an out artist and how good the album was. But also said too bad there was not much radio play for him and no songs from the album became hits. They said that should change. I agree but it was crickets from everyone else, lol. I don't think even any gay artists or allies spoke out about it. I guess as long as a LNX and Sam and a few get great play that is more than enough and it doesn't matter if others who are talented and popular have been mostly ignored by US radio.
I'm glad Adam cleared that up about straight actors playing gay characters. There should be more opportunities for gay actors to lead so I agree with his point in that context.
Wonderful about Fairyland and the cast. Hope this opens more acting doors for Adam in gay or straight roles!

I noticed that too, Katycake...that was very skillful. He wasn't there to talk about AI, he was there to talk about the movie. He's very, very good at that.

Lurleene, thanks once again for your comments about the gay/straight actors thing. You said it perfectly. And Adam clarified his comment very nicely, too. Love the kind words said about Adam being able to show up for the role and really nail it right away. Hope this leads to more roles for him. He said he was approached to do the role. So apparently he didn't audition for it. It was offered. Adam looks great! He comes across as smart, articulate and politically and socially aware.
