What? Now I have to stay up for the John Kearns Show?
Oh, and see the pic of dark Adam breaking apart the pomegranate light Adam gave him? In Ayurvedic medicine pomegranate is used in many remedies, one of which is a tonic for the heart and throat. Unified Adam may need that throat tonic for all the talking in interviews he will do today!
Pomegranates can also symbolize righteousness, knowledge, learning, and wisdom. Then there's always the whole Persephone in the Underworld thing...

This video can and will be interpreted in a thousand different ways.
What I see is dark Adam growing stronger as he drinks the alcohol. Dark Adam is self-preoccupied (mirror). He plays with fire. He is the ultimate destroyer (id - I agree w rabbitrabbit). He is fed by negative feelings and alcohol only makes him worse.
Light Adam (perhaps the organized, realistic ego?) is handling everything quite well.
But, while light Adam is reading books, dark Adam is destroying books. While light Adam is drinking his tea, dark Adam is drinking Vodka. While light Adam is sweeping, dark Adam is wanking.
Light Adam is forced, in part because he is alone, to face his dark side. He sees him. He sees his pain but what can he do about his dark side? What can he do about the primal reactions and the suffering? How can he control this part of himself?
Dark Adam is in pain, drinking, and becoming more and more destructive.
At first glance it looks like he is destroying a human heart (his own). The pomegranate is most likely representing his own heart and life. Dark Adam is destroying his own heart in front of his own eyes. Some believe the fruit eaten in the garden of eden was the pomegranate. In the Jewish religion pomegranates represent fertility of the promised land. It symbolizes life and abundance. For Christians it represents the resurrection and eternal life. In Persia the pomegranite represented being invincible. In China it represents fertility.
Light Adam loses his strength after dark Adam destroys the pomegranite. He goes to lay down. (Becoming depressed?) Dark Adam seems to be winning.
Dark Adam starts to play with fire.
Light Adam decides to distract dark Adam with a game of chess.
Dark Adam only gets worse. He becomes so destructive that he sets fire to the house. He is thrilled with the fire and destruction he creates. Almost looks like he is worshipping the fire. Meanwhile you see light Adam mouthing "What are you doing?" But all Dark Adam sees is his own suffering (mirror and makeup pulled down). In his id tantrum the destruction he creates actually turns the oxygen off on light Adam, suffocating light Adam.
Does he break through the window because he sees light Adam suffering and suffocating and he is going to save him? Or does he break through because now he is strong and he has won and he is taking over? Has dark Adam taken control? : )
In the end we see one yellow eye and one blue eye. They are both there. This is the never-ending fight within of all mankind.
LOVE THIS VIDEO

Ok, that comment he posted right before kind of gives a key to the video. Equal and opposite reactions. The harder one tries to be good and perfect and always do the right thing the more intensely one seems to self destruct. Think of all the public figures who have set themselves out to be "role-models" or who boast of righteousness and how many times these people end up having some horrible dark skeleton in the closet that eventually is exposed and destroys them. To me the message here is that being the "goody two shoes" is not the way to go. Embracing and owning your own darkness is what ultimately creates a healthy free human being. Both light and dark Adam are prisoners and only by joining together are they then free to explore the world. Very deep and I really should be in bed. I love your interpretation of this. It is too simplistic to think one is the good guy and one bad! They must come together to be whole. Oooooh, I love this!!! Especially because the hypocrisy and sanctimony of those would be "perfect people" are what drive me insane!!! And perhaps this is what I've always found so fascinating about Adam. In so many ways, he is he's the antithesis of this. Totally honest about his past and skeletons. A light, incandescent, positive person who is exposing hs darkness through performance and makes no apologies or excuses. Instead he embraces his "dark side" and displays it through his fashion and appearance choices. BTW ... I LOOOOOOOOOVE THIS VIDEO SFM!!!!!!!!Gorgeous, complex, emotionallly riveting and I have been entralled by the duality that is Adam from Day One. Fierce vulnerability, I used to call it in the beginning... This is the very definition of that. And he is So. Freaking. Gorgeous!!!!
