The stomach flu and food poisoning are very similar. Last month 15 nurses on my unit had it. We're not sure if it was stomach flu or food poisoning though, but it lasted for 24 hours and we all got sick within 3 to 4 days of each other. We all had fevers, vomiting, diarrhea. It was absolutely horrible. We all bought enchiladas from this little Mexican lady that sells them, so we all thought food poisoning.
However, a few people who didn't eat the enchiladas also got sick, including some of the patients, my daughter, another nurses son, and a couple of husbands.
If this is what Adam has, he won't be able to perform today, it just knocks you out and hits you hard. He's gotta stay in bed and close to a bathroom. Poor guy. He def. shouldn't fly if he has this either. Does he have to perform somewhere today? Anyone know when he's flying back? He's gonna be sick at least 24-48 hours.

Am I the only one having problems with the board this morning. Every single post says "Internal server error" and everytime I refresh the "reply" buttons disappear! I got the angry bear a few minutes ago.

I haven't had any issues.. but I noticed the the reponse/quote buttons are not always loading. Other than that I wouldn't even notice that there is an issue.

Somebody asked about translation to Camilla's blog but it was done yesterday: camillagervide Camilla Gervide Just watched @adamlambert live and realised that my old buddy Kevin plays keyboard for him. Oh, small world. #friends Link to her blog (in Swedish) www.camillagervide.com/2012/02/adam-lambert-live/Oh, she says All of Adam's band had suffered from a stomach bug so they were anything but jolly, but the gig was still quite magical. The new single Trespassing is sooo awesome and will be a big, big hit!She starts with the same info as in her tweet adding that they realised their earlier connection when she was crawling on the floor in front of the stage and says that she doesn't know which one of them was more surprised. Somebody also asked about how what where has she known Kevin. IDK but the title of the blog is (or was, don't see it anymore?) "From Hollywood to Hornstull" which gives the idea that she went to school in Hollywood and then moved to Sweden as Hornstull is in Stockholm. My guess is she was living in Hollywood temporarily studying music. She writes in her blog about visiting her earlier home and Musician's Institute and a drive up on Mulholland Drive after sunset and being told by the police that she was trespassing (!) and not allowed to stop there after sunset. She is a singer and has recorded too. In addition to all that I saw her post from Jan 25 where she writes that Adam releases his album on Mar 21 and will be in Sweden the week after that!!!Hearsay at this point maybe but interesting anyhow. PS Sorry that I didn't try to track back who asked and what. ... because I am having some problems with the site... MODS please, my post ended up in yesterdays thread... if I now delete it from there does my quote here vanish too?

Sounds like it might be a norovirus...there has been an outbreak in this region lately, wouldn't be surprised if it's elsewhere, too. Very contagious, very fast. The good news is that it passes quickly, too...I had it a few years back and ended up in the ER twice in a day, convinced something terrible was happening (and as a dedicated curmudgeon, I usually have to be forced at gunpoint to go just for a checkup).
Poor guys. Nothing more debilitating. I'm amazed they were able to perform at all, and maybe Adam needs to just hunker down and stay hydrated until it passes.

Yes, not to be gross but whether this is stomach flu or food poisoning Adam will be knocked out really bad by this. I have had it and it is hell. The one thing, the only thing that will stop it is an anti-nausea suppository (because you can't keep anything down by mouth). Hope there is a hotel doctor or someone who can stop it fast. GET WELL ADAM!!!

If he is still sick when he flies home that will be tough. Dry air, discomfort, etc. But the band members seemed to recover quickly so I hope he will too. He's only doing one song tonight - a good thing.

Thinking he may have to delay his flight one day. Maybe sick in First Class won't be so bad. They have their own private bathrooms, right? And if his only purpose in going home was to see Sauli for a few days, before NYC, then I think maybe Sauli could fly to NYC instead. BTW, I am not being his mother and do not plan to tweet or post this anywhere but here. I am just thinking out loud! ;D
