"Lambert wouldn't come out until 2009 in an article for Rolling Stone." I always hate it when they say Adam did not come out until after Idol. No, he came out when he was 18, about 9 years before Idol. Because someone chooses not to announce their sexuality on a tv show, does not always mean they are hiding who they are and are still in the closet. It does not mean they are failing to be real or are fake because they fail to live up to someones perception of how ALL gay men present themselves in every event or situation. Sure there were some gay contestants who chose to dress in female clothing or talk excessively about their sexuality instead of letting their talent speak. Or act as stereotypes to humor the judges (It was so painful to watch Jlo and other judges laugh at a feminine gay contestant and encourage him on for the giggles before he was cut). Adam came on for an opportunity for a career and to showcase his talent. He wanted to compete like everyone else. He had every right to do it his way and on his terms and try to make his vocal abilities and charisma the focus. And it worked. Most everyone knew he was gay (the media would not let you forget). And in spite of some challenges, he ended up with a much bigger and successful career than everyone else his season, or most seasons, gay or straight. His $45M net worth tells the story. And that career and hard work afforded him many high profile opportunities for mainstream and Pride events. He enjoys a lavish lifestyle and has a huge platform to speak to and about his community (especially to young people who view him as a role model) in a thoughtful and serious manner. Or to go OTT when he chooses and wants to. HA.

It was so good to hear that song again...I absolutely love Adam's version. Can't believe how many times I've listened to it.

This is another stunning song that just takes me away. When I watch this video I am so mesmerized by Adam's voice, I am in another world, truly. I am so glad someone sent this to the Brits. I love watching reviews of Adam's work and I was getting irritated with Brit 2 consistently comparing Adam to George Michael. If I go back I think he mentioned George Michael in every review somewhere or other. Now that he has seen Adam sing George, maybe he will stop comparing. It seems the Brits often compare Adam to either George or Freddie. Let Adam be Adam f&#king Lambert - the best
