eri9.... am feeling ya pain and frustration over the launch party sweetheart... I spent some time reading the NZGlitterTribe FB page last night for the first time in months  . Sorry, there is something about FB that I simply don't like and therefore avoid with the power of a thousand suns, but I am simply staggered by the huge amount of prep, forethought and excitement that is/has been going into the launch party. For those that don't realise, the party that eri9 is talking about is indeed a biggie. This party is being planned for our WHOLE FUCKING COUNTRY to participate in. We may only be a small country, but the significance of bringing Adam fans together, in one place for the 'album launch' party is really significant. The sheer logistics and organising of people's lives of getting peeps to the venue via flights, accommodation etc is huge. To have the goal posts shifted in relation to the, apparently official date, at the last moment is ITA ~deflating to say the least. Many NZ fans have gone outside their comfort zones, both financially and personally to make this party happen. The NZGlitterTribe WILL have a good/spazz/flail/squee time nonetheless, but the original concept was to be all together for the debut of Trespassing. The get togethers/parties that I have personally attended have been WONDERFUL. #bertingnonstop and an *understatement* eri9 - luv you babe SFM! Your passion and hard work on behalf of the NZ fans is just fabulosity squared. All KUDOS to you bb  Thanks hun! Feeling quite depressed about it tbh - the visions I had for this party are not looking likely  But we will still go ahead and  our Asses off!!! Wow, hopefully this is the start of better things bb!!! Light at the end of a long tunnel???   |

These carrots hanging in our faces are getting pretty stale. Is there not some point where Adam or someone says...if something new or great comes along...it just has to wait for the next album cause this one is DONE!!! If he keeps tweeking and adding collabs or whatever, it will never be done...seriously....  And don't start piling on me that I am not as good a fan as some of you!! If you like...I will admit to being a lesser person. But this is not entitlement...this is a serious question... I've been afraid to say anything too. Everyone seems to be taking it pretty well, there aren't even that many comments on it. But even if we get another date I don't think I'll think of it as a solid date because I thought this one was finally it. I guess if there is another single that will help ease the wait. I don't want to sound bummed (I'm excited about everything) or be piled on I just feel like man, is this going to go on forever! People, lets face it: Tresspassing, the album, is just a mirage in a desert... we see it, we want it, but we can never get to it... ;D ;D ;D ;D I actually find the whole story rather funny ...i.e. I am over the disappointment stage... I DO WANT A DIFFERENT SINGLE! |

There is no album!! We have all been punked!  Actually, truth be told, I'm feeling quite down about it. Isn't it time for this damn CD roller coaster to start going back up again instead of hearing bad, rotten single and CD put off, put off, put off? Quit changing the damn thing every other day and just release it. If that makes me be judged a bad fan, so be it. These are my feelings and they are valid. :( |

I'm not discounting radio. Everyone knows the importance of radio play. The demand had to be there! RI TD took off around the world like crazy! When people started hearing it, they started requesting it and buying it. Adele didn't have some special deal where stations were playing her song every hour. It took a long time for RI TD to make it from AAA to CHE and for it to make it up the charts, but when it did- it was a freaking explosion! On 60 minutes last night, Adele told Anderson Cooper on that it was so fast, she couldn't even wrap her mind around it. She said she got off the plane one day and the song was literally everywhere! #ha ha# When a song works on every level, it just works. Aught I give up! Adam is flop pity flopping and should cut loose onto another song...is that what we should be thinking? I don't even remember what we are even talking about anymore Lil NO. I have never said Adam is a flop, you must be thinking of someone else. Perhaps someone on Twitter?  Please don't put words in my mouth about Adam. I never said he, nor his single was a flop. BTIKM is moving slowly, but the video is just now reaching VH1 and he is just starting on his radio promo. I'm thinking we will know more, either way, in a couple of weeks. (which is the same thing I said earlier in the numbers thread) Comparing Adam to Adele for album or single sales, radio play, etc. is going to be downright depressing. #realness Adele is the artist of the decade right now, those type of expectations are really unrealistic. Adele is going to have a hard time living up to HERSELF next era! |
