Adam has been with and without a major label over the years. He has always been gay. There have been many times he could do anything he wanted and there was no one to stop him. And there have always been fans who wanted to see him throw caution to the wind and amuse them no matter what it meant for his career. So I'm going to go with those who say different sides presented for different audiences. But they are all the "real Adam". Right now, he wants his crew, his love and his community to be excited about his music and what he is doing. He is doing what he wants for now. We will see how much support he receives from his community. But there is no way I believe that everything Adam has done up to now has been fake. HA. I don't either. Feel like we're in for an exciting year...we'll see how all this pans out. Never a dull moment with Adam.

For what IT's worth i might See this EP as Adam getting some sort of redemtion for what happened to him after the Ama Performance...IT probably did more to him than we might think and be aware of...from a emotional stand Point
Everything outside/distant observation of course

This has nothing to do with 'being fake' and assuming such a simple and negative inference is why it is so difficult for people to show all sides of themselves and why celebrities in particular have to hide who they are, to the detriment of their own sense of self. These concepts are the core of things like "Dress for success" and Impression Management....that is all it is. Adam is a master at it. This wild side of him is just that...one side of him. Some fans think when we see him with little make-up, that is the 'real' him. Some will see this wild side that way. Others will see the high fashion Adam as the 'real' ...still more the polite, self-effacing wonder we observed in China. It is all REAL and it is all conscious. But it is rarely, in all fairness, deserving of being called FAKE. And fake has nothing to do with what I said or meant. I won't go here again...or at least not for another 10 years, with any luck.

Nothing to be sorry about. I was responding to the billboard article and the conversation about him being authentic or not. Most of us agree there are different sides of Adam as some pointed out. Some will like this stage and music direction and others will wait for another direction. Like the makeup and the weight debate, lol. I only stated my belief that he has not been faking his persona all these years but just likes to show different sides at different times. This is where he is now and he is going for it.

I really hope this EP gets lots of support from the gay community. Hasn't Adam called them "his people" in the past. I have a feeling that there might be some inner turmoil for Adam regarding his fans and how to please all of them and make himself happy. I've often thought that he might feel not fully loved and appreciated by the gay community. I have no idea how songs become hits, but I wonder about last year's release of "You Make Me Feel Mighty Real." Was Adam hoping the gay community would push that to become a big hit? Was it played much in the night clubs? I have no idea!
