I am honestly not that “fascinated” by Oliver and friends, though not his fault when Glamberts follow his friends and post irrelevant footage of their social life on twitter. I agree, but he isn't usually the one posting. It is usually a friend, or a friend of Oliver. I think the friends even outweigh Oliver's post.

Some very high profile personalities at the Stonewall event, so a great place for Adam to be. And yes, he looked amazing. Still reserving my getting-excited face until I see the Cabaret announcement in print lol. At the same time, my fingers and toes are crossed. I agree, I will still wait. Although, Adam is following caberetkitkatclubnyc on instagram. Who knows when he will be in it, if he will be in it. Because Eddie is leaving in September, doesn't mean Adam will be taking over then. They could have someone else for a few weeks. We never know how the wheels will turn. He also said something about halloween. Even if he is in NYC, I don't see how he can do a broadway show and a solo show in the same time frame. Good point about Halloween....now I can't remember where he mentioned that. I haven't watched all the various interviews yet, but I seem to recall him mentioning it. Lordy, I'm getting old

I think that Oliver does post a decent amount of stuff, and though I am not following him I see a good amount of reposts by Glamberts on social media. I am not faulting Oliver for sharing things about his exciting new life for those who are interested, but I find it a bit creepy when Glamberts, fans of Adam, follow Oliver's friends(!) and share random stuff of their gatherings on twitter, Instagram, and Meta. Why? Where does curiosity as an Adam fan end and stalkerish behavior begin? Sorry if I come across as having a bit of a chip on my shoulder. I probably do. The political landscape as of late is stressing me out.

And after all we are talking about Adam Lambert. Plus I would think they’ll have him and the actress playing Sally doing plenty of publicity for the show.

This is not correct. Alan was the Emcee in the Sam Mendes productions of Cabaret, West End and Broadway. In the 90s and a reprise later around 2014. But he’s in no way connected to this production or his version of the role. I hate to break it to fans, but the emcee role is a bunch bigger acting role than singing role. Wilkommen is the most familiar song but if you are hoping for fabulous songs, they are Sally’s.

You need to be able to carry a tune but you don't need to be a good singer -- the big songs are, indeed, all Sally's. But I can see why Adam would be drawn to it -- he gets to act outrageous and wear crazy outfits

I get why fans may be disappointed by a lack of "big" songs, but Adam doesn't need to prove to anyone that he's an amazing singer. I'm sure he would elevate his songs, even if they don't challenge him from a vocal standpoint. What he needs to do is prove he can act, and the Emcee would give him that opportunity - and, as a Jew, I'm sure the story speaks to him very strongly.
