I doubt very much if there's anything "wrong" with Adam and Oliver's relationship. If there was, these things wouldn't be happening out in the open. I just think these types of parties have different norms. It didn't look like anyone around them for shocked or anything. I completely agree. Adam was there, he knows what Oliver and he himself are doing. They enjoyed this special long party weekend with parties that most of us have no idea, what’s exactly going on. It’s their private life, we can watch or leave it. It’s not on us to judge, if we do watch. |

I feel a little bad that I'm more interested in hearing about a maybe announcement for Cabaret than I am about the EP. But I already know what "Afters" is about from the released songs and performances for Pride month. So either the excitement is there for his "liberation" or sex ventures of friends/boyfriends or it isn't. I know in the past, he has had to follow some guidelines with major label releases (they put up the money and go for radio or not) but so do most other artists not named Taylor or Beyonce. And majors put money behind some artists who give them what they want (mostly more of the same generic pop and rap. Tho differences are accepted in other genres) until they tire of them after a few years. But I wonder where Adam is going with his music style in the future. Will it be more EDM/dance/dance-pop music for a niche audience who make him feel young or something different and more universal?
I'm here for Adam so I will stay tho I am not interested nor impressed with what others in his surroundings are doing, lol.

Hope the parties have run their course for a while. I'm partied out and all I did was watch. lol Enough is enough. JMO, but I don't think there is anything "wrong" going on about their relationship. I think they adore each other. These parties are way crazier than any I ever attended, that's for sure.
I'm more interested in where things will be going music-wise for Adam. Hope Cabaret does happen, but beyond that, I'd love to hear about the next solo era.

I know Adam has a social life and a private life (even if it somehow gets posted on social media). But it is hard to feign interest in all the parties, friends, boyfriends or the clubs when they all start to blend together and look the same. Some playing dress-up or half naked dancing or holding a drink and smiling. It always feels like putting on a show for the cameras, portraying happiness and belonging but no real intimacy or connection. I guess you have to be there, lol. And besides hoping for news on new solo music, I'm starting to miss QAL more too. I wish Adam or Brian or Roger would say, nothing for now but we hope for more to come later. Something, anything will do, lol. The silence is a bit unsettling. |
