Regarding ‘afters’: that album could be written by someone who can’t sing, or write decent lyrics. Musically, vocally, lyrically it’s forgettable music experience, even for people who like to dance. I don’t know what to think about title written in cocaine lines. Adam’s eyes on every picture looks blurry tho. Relationship and lifestyle with Oliver inspired Adam’s the worst album so far. Side note people shouldn’t censor themselves. I expected more from Adam. I didn't even register the After title written in cocaine lines until I read your post. Now I see it. Geez. I think that implies you could get some free lines at his house parties, where anything goes. |

I see a lot of criticism here lately and I‘m wondering, what’s really the reason for that? Is it that new EP? The fact that we get to see so many pictures and videos from these (private) parties? I mean, it’s okay to criticize and post an opinion. I just want to post mine too, because I don’t see much of the negative stuff that I‘ve been reading here over the past days. 😉 Personally I think that Oliver really is the best fit for Adam of all his (former) partners. They both share many interests and seem to really understand and support each other. I don’t see Oliver riding Adam‘s coat tails (as was mentioned here). Of course almost any boyfriend would benefit from Adam‘s lifestyle, nobody can help that. But Adam benefits equally from the fact that Oliver had to move to LA and leave his former life behind. Oliver still has to adjust to that, life in Weho is still new to him and very different from everything he had experienced in Denmark until then. I think his Wild years won’t go on forever. As for the video: It’s nothing special at such a party. Both men were there, maybe Adam was watching and enjoying the scene? He can’t have been far away and they had been at a huge party full half naked gays. I think one problem by now is that there are some of our ninjas in this fandom, who simply post every little picture with either Adam or Oliver in them on social media. All that, while both of them don’t show anything from their everyday private life. All we currently see from Adam himself are ads for his new music, which is also full of sexual content and when Oliver does post a selfie or something, then it is from a party. So we get to see an overdose of party pics and nothing else. The truth is though, that 90% of their life isn’t like that. Every now and then a friend posts pictures of them from one of their homes and suddenly we get to see 2 guys in everyday clothes like my next door neighbor. Last fall Oliver was regularly working on his computer (I think for a danish company). So maybe it would help to keep in mind, that we only see the parts of their lives, that they want to share. In both cases that’s mostly work related. All the party pics from Fire Island had been from strangers or some new, casual acquaintances, because some fan(s) seem to scan the whole internet and look for parties on Fire Island, where the two of them might have been. And one last note about that: Maybe it’s a good thing that there hadn’t been social media, while Adam had been on the Zodiac Show. Neither Adam nor his old friends have ever been monks. Quite the contrary! And the same goes for Queen and Brian and Roger. Only last week I read the letter that Brian wrote as the opener for the Queen Fanclubs last Fan Magazine. He wrote that they all currently do their own things and that he’s happy to finally again have time for that. He also moved to the countryside, had his Starmus Festival ect, so he‘s very busy. They are currently taking a break from QAL, but I don’t see any problem or feel a rift or something. Roger is never on social media anyway. But the official Queen page and the social media accounts did promote Adam‘s documentary Out, Loud and Proud. www.queenonline.com/news/tonight-adam-lambert-out-loud-and-proud-itv-9pm-uk . Adam seems very happy and looks better than ever. QAL isn’t done yet. I look forward to Adam on The Voice of Australia, but not so much to the musical. And in th end I hope, that Adam‘s next EP or album will be more to my taste. 😊 |

And your effort is very much appreciated. I can only guess that it's a lot of work. And I have no problem with people expressing an opinion..ie I don't like his new music. But the negativity about Oliver and conjectures about things we know nothing about... Thanks for your input, Nightowl. |

I find myself reminiscing about my old (or even current) Rolling Stones fandom, where we didn’t see every single offstage action of the band members as they live their lives. I find myself scrolling a lot and, if I’m busy, not even checking in here every day. I’ve listened to the new songs, and musically they’re okay, but EDM isn’t my thing, so whatever. If Adam is happy with Oliver, that’s great. I’m pretty much ignoring all the party stuff and not jumping to any conclusions about their relationship (or the current status of the Adam/Queen collaboration). I’m just waiting for whatever comes next. Hope that Cabaret rumor is true!
