Metal Vocalist First - Adam Lambert - On The Moon (acoustic)
This is a gem for sure. But in all fairness, Adam nor his labels have rarely, if ever pushed this type of music from him. That is why hardly anyone, other than his fans, know what he is capable of. He has a lot of great music that showcases his talent but no award winning type of music is ever pushed and heavily promoted for him. It is mostly always the dance/pop, dance and the stereotypes of what gay male artists should be and can produce for the club, drag shows and partying crowd. But that seems to be what Adam wants for himself because that is what he, his boyfriend, his friends and community like. Even tho the pop gatekeepers and the community still only really support the females. So for me, after the latest EP and the interviews that went with it, the fever for me is now broken. I no longer expect or hope that his enormous talent will be front and center and recognized unless he is fronting Queen (?) or singing the heartfelt and meaningful music of some other artist as a cover. I will always be a fan but no longer expecting any great ballads or Alt, rock music to be pushed from or for him. He has been very honest, that is just not the music he loves and where his heart is. I have finally let it go and hope to support his other projects but after 15 years, the fever is definitely broken. HA.
