Looks like I'm not the only one amazed at Adam's look. I have seen quite a few comments. I guess with the beard for so long I didn't realize he looked the same under it! LOL - I am still astounded, can't get over it. If he is trying to stay young and appeal to the younger crowd, this is the way to go! I feel like I‘m the only one, who prefers Adam with his (light) beard.  That’s how I got to know him and what he has looked like for the past 11+ years. The latest pictures stunned me in a way, that my brain still doesn’t get around thinking the pictures must be from 2009. How can it be possible that he suddenly looks the same again? I prefer the beard, not a fan of the Liza Minnelli look on him which is what I called it then and what I call it now. |

I think Adam looks great. He has always looked younger with less facial hair. I wasn't a fan of the heavy beard as it made him look so much older but the light facial hair was great. When he was with Javi, I often wondered why he wore that heavy beard as it made him look so much older and way more mature than the young Javi. However, they did look great together at the Oscars. Javi looked less young and more sophisticated that night. He met the moment and looked classy and as if he belonged with Adam. And Adam looked absolutely stunning that night on the red carpet, performing and in the audience. HA. I see there are already complaints that Beyonce did not get any nominations for the CMA's. I'm not surprised tho cause the CMA's are the most prestigious of the country awards. But none of her songs went far on country radio. They probably played it some to keep the fuss down but it didn't get past 30 on the charts. And like all genres, they play what they want and radio will elevate who they want. And country gives out #1's like they are giving out candy but not to her. Yes her country album sold big but she always sells big. My guess is it was her fans who were buying and not so much new country fans. Like we would do if Adam put out a country album or rock album (he would have a lot of cred in rock tho). I would buy any album or music Adam put out other than disco and dance. Even jazz similar to Mad About the Boy, which I loved, or music from the Cinderella musical. He earned the right to make the dance music he wants and the music he loves, with influences from Oliver and friends and for his community. But I was just so disappointed in the EP and the lack of seriousness and depth, at this stage of his career, to purchase this time. Don't know what the future will bring with his music but still an Adam fan and of his other adventures. He has been a great judge and I think he will shine in Cabaret. Back to Beyonce. I'm sure she will get a Grammy or two cause I don't think she has ever put out an album where she didn't win something. Will be interesting to see if Jay-Z's complaining about her never winning album of the year, tho she has won 32 Grammy's, will get her that win this time. I get kind of tired of fans who complain when their "person" isn't nominated, when they have won a gazillion already. Beyonce, Carrie, Taylor. There are amazing people like Adam that never get them and are better than any of the above (IMO). I think there should be a limit. Once you get 10 of the same award you should be banned from getting any more of that particular award and leave room for others. It is ridiculous. It's all about politics and paying for your votes again IMO. |

There are amazing people like Adam that never get them and are better than any of the above (IMO). I think there should be a limit. Once you get 10 of the same award you should be banned from getting any more of that particular award and leave room for others. It is ridiculous. It's all about politics and paying for your votes again IMO. I agree with you 100%. That year that Beyonce's fans had a meltdown cause she won 3 Grammy's that night but Adele beat her for album of the year. Beyonce's album was platinum but Adele went 10 times platinum in the US alone and opened with 1Mil sales her first week. Her fans and the media should have sat that one out cause it seemed ridiculous, lol. And Carrie has won 8 Grammy's and a gazillion country awards but her fans were not satisfied because she had not won Entertainer of the Year (mostly won by males tho Tayor did win when she was in Country) at the CMA's. They complained every year when Carrie won something but did not win ETY. When she lost again and Garth Brooks beat her out for it, the meltdown and negative press was so bad and loud that he took himself out of the running the following year. She didn't win it then either and it went to another dude. And when a new female country artist became a darling and broke thu a few years ago and won ETY, and it wasn't Carrie, well there was another meltdown. So now it seems they have not been nominating Carrie at all for anything. Sometimes you have to accept your wins and understand your luck as many others don't get recognized at all. And you are not entitled to win everything that you want to win. Now Morgan Wallen is up for 8 CMA awards this year, including ETY. So all is forgiven after he was busted and banned for using the N word so he will likely win some of them. But no telling what her fans or Beyonce's fans will say if he should win ETY. |

I was born to be a Rock Star - can you believe this was before Queen. It wasn't really. He performed with Queen in 2011 and 2012 and Glee was 2013. Now the US tour with Queen was 2014. |
