Since we talked about Brian as a guitarist earlier in the thread I thought I'd mention that not only is Brian a spectacular guitarist but the "Red Special" his signature guitar was built by he and his dad and has been used throughout all these years as his primary instrument. Since we talked about Brian as a guitarist earlier in the thread I thought I'd mention that not only is Brian a spectacular guitarist but the "Red Special" his signature guitar was built by he and his dad and has been used throughout all these years as his primary instrument. It is an interesting story. Here is the wiki link about the guitar en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_SpecialNot only did Brian and his father design and build his guitar -- he has a legit guitar business www.brianmayguitars.co.uk/My favorite instrument is VOICE now -- but it used to be lead guitar and key. (Until I heard Adam.) What Adam needs is to find musical voices that work with his voice. Even without hearing them together, I am sure that Niles is one. I think Kevin may be one. I also think that Brian and Roger may be two more. Many of the obvious combos do not work that well -- Orianthi + Adam was not great. And surprisingly to me Justin Hawkins + Adam was not a good fit. I would love to hear Adam with some Memphis-southern musicians -- I think that a blues edge would compliment his amazing instrument. |

After lurking for a while as guest, I finally took a step to de-lurk and register and join the fun. Reason for de-lurking is that I have been so impressed by how awesome you all are and especially with this charity water campaign. Respect! The Listening Party for the MApril release of TRESPASSING is about 3 weeks away and Atopers are flying/driving from all over the US (total of 17 representing 10 states + the "local" folks = 25 peeps). How awesome is that!
Attendees, please check your emails for the latest update and details. With so many coming, we need to coordinate logistics and email is the easiest way to communicate.
Next time we may have to rent the Georgia Dome, LOL!!!!
