I saw Adam first time on AI like everyone else and thought he had amazing voice. Music is my passion and I like many genres and types of music and his voice and individuality is something I havent seen for long while. I am not really into these massproduced girl and boy bands that all sound alike. So have really been into his music ever since I heard what he can do. Not seen him live yet so first time in knebworth I am really looking forward to that, I have wanted to before but it just has not been possible. Being a Finn I obviously also like Sauli a lot too : ). I find them so adorable but especially Adam.

FYE era? How can there be such a dearth of information in this information age???

I think it would upset me a bit if The Rolling Stones replaced Mick Jagger and still called themselves the Rolling Stones. Jagger as a singer for the Stones IS irreplacable. I can identify a bit with hard core queen fans when they view the whole adam thing as a type of sacrilege. That being said though it is a shame to let great music by original band members go unplayed and unheard, especially if the musicians want to continue to play and fans want to hear. and i believe there would be quite a few beatles fans excited to see paul and ringo play together and recreate the music even if that olly murs was singing, (or was that another underhanded slam) don't know much about mr murs. Even if Mick had been dead for 20 years ??? : : : : (I see this has been answered already).. luzrnaz, I thought your comparison was an interesting and valid one. And it did give me pause to think, for sure. My reaction was the same as yours – I couldn't imagine Rolling Stones without Mick. However, as many pointed out, particularly Bridgey, it's a difficult comparison to make in that we know Mick is still alive and even if one of the principles passed away tomorrow (god forbid) it wouldn't ever be quite the same because I am pretty sure the others won't continue on another 20 years ( just a guess ) But I TOTALLY got your original point and it was a good one. I guess every situation needs to be assessed for individual circumstance, and the artists involved are going to do what THEY feel is best for them, their art, their creative hunger and their commitment to their legacy. I love that Brian and Roger are so passionate about their music today as they were 40 years ago. THAT'S HUGE!! And it deserves to be played. And they deserve to play it, if it feeds their creative souls. It must be an incredible feeling to be able to revisit work you created at such a magical time in your life and bring your current life experience to it – it's almost like a wormhole back in time so few of us will ever experience. But it's not just going back; it's going forward. And fortunately Brian and his astrophysicist self GETS it. And I say more power to all of them. It's creative. It's courageous. It's a look back and a leap forward and I'm so excited that I'll be there. (And I KNOW Adam is going to KILL it ;D ;D) WELCOME, SAPARO!!
