Tell me what I'm feeling when Jimmy Page or Brian May or Jimmy Hendrix or B B King or Santana or Gary Moore, to name just a few, because Oh lord I looooove guitar solos, and the feeling I have is like their guitar is talking to me, crying, laughing, being angry. Sorry you know shit about music. Reading the article illustrates why I don't listen to talk radio - you want to grab someone by the throat and ask none to gently, "Who are you and are you crazy!" But sadly you can't get to them. I believe everyone is entitled to an opinion but that is entirely different from making random statements as if they are true. If he said that he didn't think anyone should ever sing a Queen song except Freddie, fine, his opinion. But to make such disparaging statements about Brian and the fact that he is practicing his craft are ludicrous. It's no different than saying he should not be writing this column if someone wrote it before him. Life happens, death and change happen and some people cannot deal with that unless it suits their own purpose. |

This Hamish fellow makes it clear he knows next to nothing about Adam. Adam is so very different in terms of presence on stage and other public lenses than Freddy.
Freddy was a great singer and flamboyant - but he wasnt sexy or charming. These two singers have a completely different vibe.
Freddy wasnt gorgeous looking either.
And his voice was a strong strong and edgy voice. That was really cool. On the other hand, it didnt have the tenderness or layers or translucence that Adam's voice has. Their voices have completely different frequencies.
They are so very different.
This Hamish guy is superficial, ideological. What a bore. And a boor.
