Those Fault pics are everywhere now-- Adam's gorgeous, ethereally beautiful image intriguing and captivating people all over the world. What a gift! I agree. All of this publicity is working! Here's a comment I just read at UnrealityTV: HOT is an understatement! Adam Lambert is sheer beauty, I could stare at him for hours! WOW!! Where has he been? I think it would upset me a bit if The Rolling Stones replaced Mick Jagger and still called themselves the Rolling Stones. Jagger as a singer for the Stones IS irreplacable. I can identify a bit with hard core queen fans when they view the whole adam thing as a type of sacrilege. That being said though it is a shame to let great music by original band members go unplayed and unheard, especially if the musicians want to continue to play and fans want to hear. and i believe there would be quite a few beatles fans excited to see paul and ringo play together and recreate the music even if that olly murs was singing, (or was that another underhanded slam) don't know much about mr murs. The big difference with RS is they currently have the choice. Last time I looked Mick was still alive and kicking. Short of using video backing to the music there is not way for Queen to bring Freddie back, or any other iconic band to bring back a member who is gone and that list is long ... "no one will ever replace Freddie" ok sure I get it but I don't believe anyone has said that they are trying to. Whatever, the event will happen. Adam and Queen will be grand. Crow will be eaten by some. The "can't replace Freddie" meme will continue. #ymmv |
