So glad you took that Banner and that Adam signed it. did he ask you about the "world domination" phrase? Was he surprised?

Oh, I forgot, a gentleman (around 40-ish), asked Adam what inspired him to sing Mad World. Adam said that he was visiting his Dad in San Diego and Neil played the song on the piano and he sang it. Then the gentleman asked if he would sing it and Adam said he and Kevin had not practiced it.
I talked to this gentleman later (he looked like a businessman, all dressed up), and he was fanboying! So funny - I could not get a word in.

I must thank 3 people for making the last two days after surgery, which could have been hell  , so much better. All start with S. Hmm. Spardu - thank you for picking me up at the hospital and staying with me. You have such a generous spirit and have been and are a wonderful friend. Shutterbug - for inviting me to see Adam at the 94.7 radio gig. After this surgery, I can't think of anything else that could make me not think of the pain! You too are so generous and kind. I'm lucky. Schufly - for London, for Adam too, and for the beautiful flowers. You're a generous and supportive friend. I am indeed a lucky woman. Love all of you!  And, all the well wishers. No, he did not comment on it but thought the banner was cool. Many peeps wanted to take a picture of it. Not one also commented on the World Domination so I guess they agree. |
