I don't want to steal Misha's thunder, sorry Misha (and please don't hate on her for being so lucky and me for being luckier that she is taking me as a guest), but we are going to both Atlanta promos! In fact, based on the last few days' threads, we discussed whether we would even let people know that she won again. But then something this exciting needs to be shared with everyone. We and the Alabama gurls worked our fingers trying to get tickets and Misha must have the magic finger as she won tickets to both. If you have tried entering these contests, you know how frustrating it is because all you get is a busy signal and even on the rare chance you get through, you are not the right numbered caller. So Misha, congratulations and my eternal gratitude for thinking of me. We will have a blast gurl and memories to last a lifetime!!!
The two promos are quite different. Star94 is a pizza lunch affair and more casual. It lasts about an hour. No photographs by the audience allowed or autographs. One of the DJs and I have had an ongoing dialogue via email the last 2 years or so and maybe she can help me get Adam to sign my banner for the Listening Party. There will be official photographs though.
Then Misha and I have to go home, take a nap, and change clothing as the Q100 is in the evening and Misha was told that guests have to wear a cocktail dress or something along that line. It is a 2.5 hour affair. I think this is where the band will be performing and most likely Adam will be singing more songs. Not sure if we will be allowed to take photographs. And apparently, afterwards, there will be cocktails and I am praying that Adam will mingle with the guests. It will be nice to meet the band members also.
This is going to be an EPIC day and epic is the correct word to use. I could barely sleep last night - too many butterflies in my tummy.
Ok, need to do a little work (darn RL) then off I go!
