I understood what you meant and I hope others understood that I AM NOT a Belieber, or whatever the hell they call themselves! Don't worry I give the Biebs one good more year before he joins the Jonas Bro in teen idol retirement. Considering how fast chunks of his fanbase are divorcing themselves from him and getting engaged to the boys of 1D. I agree, the time has come for the Biebs where he has to make the transition from tween heartthrob to legitimate artist and VERY FEW of them are able to do this. 1D is the new, hot thing at the moment. Who knew boybands could make a comeback?

Q3 Saw your idea about the auction for Charity Water. If you want to make a lot of money, talk to bamafan's DH. I'm sure there's plenty of Adam stuff in their Adam Shrine house he'd like to donate for a good cause. ;D Would someone please tell me the meaning of DH -- designated hubby?? DH=Dear Hubby DS= well that depends, Dear son, Dear sister??? I guess you have to know the person DSIL= another confusion, Dear sister in law, dear son-in-law DD= Dear Daughter

So...I emailed my sister (lives in Portland, our hometown) with the links of the places to register, tweet, email and call for Adam tickets. She's also a fan. Being the evil older sister she is, she just sent me an email back saying "thanks for the links -- if I win, i wonder who I should invite to come along". Evil, I tell you (LOL). Here's hoping we win! Since Seattle is being scorned, I would drive to Portland for this--and then I could visit my sister and say hi to her dogs, too... Good luck!!! And to mys*&@^#r, too!!

Some drive by thoughts:
Every morning this is what I do in order of priority:
1) Request from my local radio station that has added BTIKM to it's playlist (I alternate methods). Every other weekday I request from the other HAC and Top 40 stations in my area.
2) Run down the voting and requesting links in the OP each day -- Doing the national US/Canada one's first, and then the international ones. All those US/Canada links are fine for people to request from out of area as far as fandom has been able to determine. The international ones aren't limiting voters to locals either it appears. At least fans have been doing it for about three months with no push back. I'm sure if there was any push-back it would be reported on twitter or here quickly and we would remove the link.
This is a different thing than making radio requests from outside of a listening area of a station that isn't national or nationally streamed. That's where you have to watch out, as well as spamming or annoying a station. A polite once a day request to a local station that has played the song before is no problem at all -- in fact, it's the most useful thing you can do.
I know it's stated many times but it really can't be stated enough, requesting locally is by far the most effective way to support Adam. Second are the national and international voting and requesting links in the OP. Things like the March madness tournament are fun, but have no tangible benefit for Adam that I can see.

On the camera thing, I really feel for Adam here. In my mind there is a clear difference between having a few ninjas in a crowd and having every person in the crowd be stuck behind the lens of a camera. Fandom is so connected that it's easy beforehand for someone to say 'I'll be taking video' or to pass on that the venue is recording and therefore for some others to let it go and just "be there" for Adam.
I visited the Louvre a year or two ago and it struck me as absolute insanity how many people didn't actually look at the artwork, they just walked down the halls video-taping it or taking blurry snapshots.
It was the only place in the world that you would be able to stand and take in these iconic works art in person, to see it with your own eyes, to study it, to sit with it, to be in the experience. You can find 100's of professional photos of each of these pieces of art online, but how many times are you going to get to walk around them, to lean close and study brush-strokes or chisel marks up close? To see how light moves across the surface? To think about how it makes you feel?
How many times will you be able to give your full undivided attention to Adam singing up close in person?

You might want to pay attention to reihmer's avi's from now on ... he changes them from time to time, oscillating from insanely gorgeous to very funny and inbetween gazeworthy-pretty ETA: reihmer, your current avi covers all three! lol thanks for the description of my avis ;D

milford-ma.patch.com/articles/adam-lambert#photo-9333960IMAGE GALLERY: Adam Lambert Draws Enthusiastic CrowdSinger Adam Lambert drew a diverse crowd that ranged in age from 8 to over 70, and many of his fans traveled far to see him in Milford. Adam Lambert drew a crowd to PinZ on Wednesday that showed his music appeals to a wide range of people. The singer performed two songs in an acoustic set sponsored by WXLO in Worcester. The intimate setting meant fans were able to stand just a few feet from the star. ...Lambert was relaxed and friendly throughout the event. He fielded questions about his favorite designer (Skingraft - whose leather jacket he wore on Wednesday), whether he likes Twitter (he does: @adamlambert), his favorite toothbrush color (neon green), and whether he likes pens. The pen question made him laugh. "Yeah," he said, after a pause. And what color? "I'm really feeling yellow right now." More

Maggy @maggy_97 Reply Retweet Favorite · Open #BTIKM as title track of the German movie 'Türkisch für Anfänger' I just back from the cinema where I (cont) www.twitlonger.com/show/gep6lsI just back from the cinema where I watched the movie. Surprisingly, it was not bad as expected (as this type of movie is not my favorite at all) lol As all of you know by now, #BTIKM is the 'title track'. The song plays thrice throughout the movie, although the first time it's only the few beginning chords, so I think a non-fan wouldn't notice. The second time the song plays during a key scene, when the kids are rescued from the island. We can hear a part of the bridge and the chorus. It's very present in this scene. The third time the song plays over the speakers in a plane, during another key scene, when the main characters confess their love. The music is just in the background then, but it's quite a long sequence. Although #BTIKM is credited as 'title track' in the ending credits, the song is NOT played when they roll. But they do show a BIG FAT ad with the single CD cover during the ending credits! All in all I have to say that it looks like Sony really made an effort to put the song there. It would have been better, of course, if it would get played during the ending credits (like TfM for '2012'). However, I doubt that random movie goers will check out (and buy) the song just because of the movie. But maybe this 'title track' thing will lead to some more radio play and then people will go and buy it. Who knows? I'll keep my fingers crossed.
