He talks about some different stuff in this m&g -- interesting take on neg press and comments and how he is now trying to steer his way through. Sad that the the few that don't like someone can have such an impact. This also is a very good performance -- I think Tommy and Adam are really starting to mesh. Tommy does some different and interesting fingering striking both deep and rich notes from his Fender. I don't think anyone but a flamingo player could keep up with Adam and his riffs. Just put me on the record as saying that there is just not one thing that I don't love about Adam. I've sat here with face in palm just grinning silly at the Q&A and just how many times have I heard it all before!? Uh, flamingo???? Do you mean flamenco? As in the Spanish music genre? Wow, getting called out -- yeah, whatever Montoya plays.

Ok, so I was the one who mentioned Bieber earlier and I decided to go to Billboard and look at his chart history specifically on the CHR Radio chart which is Pop Songs. He has had 7 songs on this chart and of those only three made the top 20. One Time peaked at #14, Baby at #16 and Somebody To Love at #20. His highest peak on the Radio Songs chart which tracks overall AI across formats was #24. I could find no Adult Pop Songs (HAC) entries and he had 2 Adult Contemporary (AC) #2 and #3 both xmas songs. He has however 20 songs that have hit the Hot 100 which is sales, airplay and streaming even there only 2 top ten and the highest was at #5. So here is the case of someone who has had great sales and in the public eye is seen as a HUGE success and yet in the realm of Top 40 radio is really not all the huge. I think though that if you asked the average person on the street how many #1 songs Bieber has had I would bet they would say more than one. Perception is as important as the actual statistics. What would hurt Adam more at this point than BTIKM not getting higher on the charts would be the media portraying it as a flop and so far we haven't had that. But that is my main problem with all the fan angsting is that we KNOW certain media outlets monitor the fan sites and if WE call it a flop we increase the chance that media will call it that as well. Of course it would start with the nastier bloggers but you can never tell if those things will pick up steam or not. All I can say is it's a VERY GOOD THING that the media LOVES Adam as much as they do because right now they WANT Adam to be a success. If they ever turned against him though it could be brutal. OK I'm one that might be starting to angst a little only because we have no idea of his CD sales as of yet. BUt Beiber has a hugh fanbase which helps plus targeting the tweenies. Adam has a nice fanbase II'm assuming) either that or we are just loud and someone else said, organized. Adam also has a stigma against him which makes his climb a little harder. Yes over the numbers thread I suggested a second single because he does need a hit for a larger fanbase. Media does loves him but if the majority of buyers do not hear a song, then I don't care how much radion radio DJ's say they love him, if they don't play his song and no one hears, no one buys.

Well I guess this goes to show that the whole "Bieber Fever" teen sensation fad is what propped up Biebs in the first place and helped maintain him, not his radio hits. Sad that his time in the sun is coming to an end as one direction snatches his wig

Very, very late to the party. London Trespassing... nice. This is probably as close to Adam rapping as we'll get. Pharrell did a great job with this one, really suits Adam. Out of the box, yes, even for Adam. But it is sooo Adam at the same time. Love the vocals on this one, including all the 'sound' effects . Studio version is going to be so much fun! Did you catch the subtle grab at 'show u what is cold' ? Ummm....yes I did.

Wow great video, love the song. Issac's beat is killer. Tommy was sounding great on yesterday's too, I think he's getting more comfortable with these promo gigs.

I think Adam is doing GREAT.. he is very popular with people all over the world. No he's not Lady Gaga, and he's not Adele. He's Adam,he's a singer's,singer with an incredible voice who graces the world of pop. IMHO his appearances with Queen will push him over the top. Does this mean he will be #1 on the charts, not necessarily, does this mean he will sell more cds than Adele, who knows. What he is and will become is a singer like no other and where he will definitely shine,IMHO will be when he goes out on the road and sells out all of his concerts. There is nobody like a live Adam Lambert & By the way that is also where the money is.Just saying......

curious how this extensive radio promo tour will impact promo when the album actually comes out?
He's not getting to promo the album with a set date of release (which is a wasted opportunity IMO) so what happens when there actually is a date for release or the weeks following release? Will he go out again or just do phone interviews?

Well said, I think as diehards, we are impatient for more music and quick success for Adam. We need to be positive, and support him. To put my money where my mouth is, I' ll be purchasing the single, and gifting it to a couple people who haven't heard it, instead of getting my usual Starbucks.
