RubinReport: Headed to to a little cocktail thing in Chelsea to meet Adam Lambert. That's literally the gayest thing I've ever written. Dave Rubin @rubinreport Comic/co-host of The Six Pack (@sixpackradio) on SiriusXM. HuffPo'r: www.huffingtonpost.com/dave-rubin. Only member of the Jedi Council from Long Island. NYC · www.sixpackradio.comEvery time I post something from someone in NYC who is about to meet Adam, I feel uncomfortable, if you know what I mean. But it's all over twitter, if I post it here or not, it's the same thing.

myspenser - Wishing you tons of good luck in securing M&G passes for SF! If anyone deserves it - you do!!! You are personally responsible for at least 10% of his radio play.

Hehe....I'm trying my damnedest to bite my tongue. Hope Adam has a nice evening - I was hoping for some down time but I suppose he won't see much of that until long after the album is launched.

Don't be sad! I think it is amazing that Adam's Charity Water page has raised almost $70k this time around. Even if it does not make its goal, it is not a failure, as any little bit helps. Look at Justin Biebers page, he has only raised 15K since 2/28. Thank you for saying this. I think last year the fans went above and beyond raising over 300K for charity water. Even if the goal falls short this year the adam fans will still have raised over 1 million dollars for the various charities he supports since 2009 which is pretty damn incredible. I, too, appreciate what you said, Kanadie. I was finding myself getting pretty upset over the idea that the campaign wouldn't reach its goal, and then I realized that I was making it more about Adam than about the people getting water. I was worried on his behalf and didn't want him to look like a "failure." But every bit of money that we've raised is going to bring clean water to people who didn't have it before, and that's all that matters. I support a drive to reach the goal before the expiration date arrives, and more than anything I hope Adam will speak up on Twitter and remind people to donate, but I'm going to remember what the real goal is. Clean, accessible water. That's all.

So...I emailed my sister (lives in Portland, our hometown) with the links of the places to register, tweet, email and call for Adam tickets. She's also a fan. Being the evil older sister she is, she just sent me an email back saying "thanks for the links -- if I win, i wonder who I should invite to come along". Evil, I tell you (LOL). Here's hoping we win! Since Seattle is being scorned, I would drive to Portland for this--and then I could visit my sister and say hi to her dogs, too...
