Link again...Adam coming up! @virginradioyyc: Seacrest will be talking to Adam Lambert THIS hour! #tunein calgary.virginradio.ca/player.aspxETA: We need to add that "bourgie" comment to the "words Adam says" thread, lol! And "copacetic" too! He used that in one of the interviews in the past week. Love that word, too. And for the record, it took a lot of self-restraint for me not to tweet that not-looking-so-young-himself DJ SeanV. But if Adam can keep the force field up, so can I. ;D ETA: Thanks luzrnaz! Corrected the spelling of the word I love! :

I often wonder at what age one is supposed to hang it up. put on the polyester and start listening to ummm Glen Miller? I was just thinking, maybe this is one reason why country music has such a huge fan, it truly is ageless, right? Is there ageism in country? It is not like there are old country stations and young country stations, are there? I listen to a lot of country. While it has its own issues, there is far less ageism per se. George Strait just charted 2 number #1 hits off his new album and he is just shy of 60 and a grandfather. Country is known for cultivating a very diverse fan base, age-wise, and this is indeed one of the reasons for its incredible success. [/quote/ I've often wondered what kind of comments the dj's would make if Adam's fan base included Tina Turner, Aretha, Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton, sooo many...even Madonna (didn't the dj erk mention 50 years old...oh my!) and who knows, maybe they ARE all crazy about him ;just like us !! I truly believe that a major reason for the older fans is life experience ...been there done that and know what we want and enjoy. A certain freedom that comes from having lived.

If you blinked you would of missed it! lol Short but at least Ryan gave Adam the respect he deserves for TRESPASSING being the most anticipated album for his radio viewers! ETA: If we weren't going to get the name of the next single....I was hoping we would get when Adam was appearing on AI!

I am grateful for even a minute of Adam on a Calgary station. BTIKM was played only once on Virgin Calgary and that was it! WWFM had been played by the two top40 stations until a couple of months ago. The station that played Adam the most (WWFM reached high rotation status and was played every hour) changed its format and no Adam on their playlist. So YAAY! good to hear Adam's voice on local radio!

Does anyone remember where/how BTIKM was announced? I seemed to have forgotten. Just curious.
ETA: Thanks Ryan for announcing your Olympics gig.. that forewarns me which station to avoid. (sorry, he grates on my nerves)

(sorry, he grates on my nerves) Waaaay back in Nov., right? ...and I'm not at all sure--all I know for sure is it WASN'T debuted with Ryan--OH, wasn't it a NY DJ/station??--but I honestly can't remember. Wow. Over 4 months ago...really love BTIKM, and the vid, and especially all the acoustic versions--but that explains why I'm so into the new songs!

Copacetic-love that word too. harkens back to one of my favorite songs from the 90s(?) Bound to the Floor by Local H, The first time I truly heard that word.
Gosh, Adam and his words. yet another reason i admire him. He really does need his own talk show, with musical interludes. I often skip his musical performance and go right to the interview, because I want to Hear what he has to Say. sensei
