 Okay, "Runnin" is seriously freaking me out here. Such a luscious low register. A true, rich baritone sound. Wonderful to listen to. But then, he keeps going up and up. He flips into his blend of chest and head voice and produces a completely different color to his voice. Hearing the baritone sound, if he were a normal earthling, I would expect him to be pushing hard to hit those higher notes, but, no. It's effortless and crystal clear. At about 2:45 he sings that baritone tone and then jumps up an octave and half, then two octaves above for "I know what I'm after". The two phrases sound like two completely different vocalists. I'd love to play this for a singer totally unfamiliar with Adam. I bet they would think it was a "duet." They would be blown away when I told them (after the first listen thru) that all the lead and harmonies were sung by the same guy. Theoretically, I have known Adam could do this. But hearing it in one song is a totally different reality. DAMN! This song struck me speechless, so I'm glad you said this. My new obsession. Gah. Oh I am so in that club sista. Loved it from the snippet but whole song is just WTF (in the best possible way) and you know I don't squee lightly... |

Runnin is so unique and cool! But don't know what exactly I would give up to get it on the regular album - well maybe I would give up a non co-write but THE WHOLE ALBUM IS SO SO SO GOOD JUST THE WAY IT IS!

Hi! First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for the Charity water. I live in Antananarivo (Madagascar) and I do believe my country is at the receiving end of your kindness, so, big, big THANKS to all of you! I also happen to be a huge fan of Adam Lambert. Actually, I've been Adamafied without knowing it. I'll explain: I always listen to Frequence Plus, a station where the dj just play music and don't introduce the title/performer that much. So, every now and then you have "Time for Miracles". First second I heard it I instantly fell in love with the voice. I asked my kids who the hell this singer is and the all yelled at me: "Whaaaat!?! You don't know Adam Lambert?!?" I googled the name, almost fainted when I discovered the beatiful face behind the amazing voice, nearly died when heard the Trespassing snippets... Have to tell you they played BTIKM twice already, it was heaven listening to it on my favorite radio. By the way, If the link to the album is still working, I'd be very happy if someone can pm me:) Last thing, thank you guys for making Atopia the best place to be when you are down, when you are high, when you are in between...Love you all!!! sent |

RUNNIN RUNNIN RUNNIN ..........................  Why RUNNIN isn't on the regular album? And why wasn't it the FIRST SINGLE??? OMG I dance and dance but my heart is melting with his dark side omg don't mind me I'm just rambling here .... IKR??? I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THIS AND I'M AFRAID IF I STOP LISTENING AND LISTEN TO SOMETHING ELSE THEN IT'S GONNA DISAPPEAR ON ME WHICH IS COMPLETELY IRRATIONAL... AHHHHHHHH |
