While I'm listening to Runnin, I keep hearing Kara Dioguardi saying, "How can someone go from so low, to so high" - that's some crazy stuff he's singing right there! You may have heard people talk about songs having an Arc. Well Runnin has one hell of an Arc! Kanadie and glamlampoon, am I hearing a solid A2 in Runnin? All the charts of Adam's range are going to have to be revised. They sure will!! bottom and top! (jumped again, sorry ) WHAT ARE THE LOWEST AND HIGHEST ON THE ALBUM????

Are there any fans of ? That song is unbelievable! Yay!!! Uh, does it count if I can't keep hitting replay? His lower register is such a magnificent surprise. This album!!! My cornucopia runneth over!!! Can you imagine NOT being able to get this awesomeness out of your system? Adam must have been strangling ready to burst forth in full bloom and full voice! Justin Timberlake may have brought sexy back, but Adam has resuscitated THE ALBUM! (I love a world-wide group flail!!!) ;D

Okay, "Runnin" is seriously freaking me out here. Such a luscious low register. A true, rich baritone sound. Wonderful to listen to. But then, he keeps going up and up. He flips into his blend of chest and head voice and produces a completely different color to his voice. Hearing the baritone sound, if he were a normal earthling, I would expect him to be pushing hard to hit those higher notes, but, no. It's effortless and crystal clear. At about 2:45 he sings that baritone tone and then jumps up an octave and half, then two octaves above for "I know what I'm after". The two phrases sound like two completely different vocalists. I'd love to play this for a singer totally unfamiliar with Adam. I bet they would think it was a "duet." They would be blown away when I told them (after the first listen thru) that all the lead and harmonies were sung by the same guy. Theoretically, I have known Adam could do this. But hearing it in one song is a totally different reality. DAMN! Oh, Cassie - you have just made all my hopes come true! I love Adam's lower register voice, (love his upper notes too, of course, but we hear them more!) and was SO hoping to hear some on the album, but hadn't caught any on the snippets. I have decided to wait until my box set arrives (I got my email saying it was on the way last Thursday!) so I could have the CD in my hot little hand before I listened, and I am now sitting here hugging myself in anticipation. Thank you so much for this wonderful "Christmas Eve" anticipation!!
