Added my 2 cents to EW comments. Will be interesting to see if GLAAD gets involved and where this goes. Has a music review ever resulted in a retraction before...
I have no issues with people who legitimately don't care for the music - would be fingers on chalkboard for my rammstein loving husband, but reviewer commits the cardinal sin... Trying to be clever and funny and being neither.

Also, I've subscribed for a long time, and last week's issue (May 11) had a full page article on Adam with a nice photo. Unfortunately I sent it to a friend of mine so I don't have it here to scan and I can't remember who the writer was on it (obviously it wasn't Ms. M). I'll call my friend tomorrow and ask. Did anyone else see it? If I remember right, it was a Q&A. It was a "what did you do today" segment and the byline is by Tanner Stransky |

781 comments right now on the EW article. I hope we will see a reply from them. I missed all of this yesterday as I was at my daughter's middle school play. Please forgive this fresh burst of outrage but I honestly shook from anger when I finally read the EW review. Earlier in the day, when we only knew the score, B-, I mentioned that it was a little disappointing but no big deal. Now, words can't describe what utter bullshit this review is. The fact that EW allowed this to go to print is unbelievable. I just sent them an email that was polite but, I hope, conveyed how stunned and saddened I am to see that they allow such blatant homophobia to masquerade as a music review. |

Thanks bb. It got cold down there at times. Not quite ready to revisit "Underneath". But man o man, I could have "Running" on continuous repeat for days. All my favorite Adam wails are there (hello "Broken English"), and "Shady" is every bit as awesome as I hoped.
Gah, must power nap. I actually do have to get to work today.
