Why in the name of piece would any Adam fan be worried? It is too early to celebrate but it is not sensible to worry in the face of the facts. Trespassing is not falling off anywhere that we have visabilty. And Billboard is forecasting Trespassing at #1. The Billboard forecast that Trespassing will be #1 is based on 4 days of actual sales from iTunes, Trans World Entertainment (FYE), Best Buy, Starbucks, Target and Anderson Merchandisers (Walmart). Billboard estimates that they make up about 85% of all U.S. album sales. Link: www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/charts-articles/chart-alert/tenacious-d-glee-and-garbage-headed-for-1007102352.storyRegarding the reference to an "AO snafu" and I have no idea what this is a reference to. They got almost all the preorders out this week and did it so they count. And my bet is AO.com sales will be higher than anyone at Billboard expect. DO NOT WORRY. Honestly, right now whatever happens is written. Either Adam has the sales or not.

Long before the Billboard 200 chart is updated here, we will know. There are prediction charts -- building sales charts -- that will be out next week on Monday-Tuesday as retailers report sales. These are based on 7 US Retailers who are responsible for 85% of US album sales. In the US, when the album was released, neither NCOE or BTIKM were in the top 200 tracks. Trespassing and Runnin' were the two Adam singles in the Top 200 tracks. Trespassing is still there. Before Idol broadcast it NCOE was in the 200's. It started to move up the charts, from Idol and continued to move up. It started to move about an hour before Idol started. Moved from the high 200's steadily up the chart. Peak so far is #92 -- currently at #96. There are other factors, but clearly it was the Idol performance and the associated news and videos. Trespassing is now at #165. Is the AO snafu likely to be a factor in the #1 ranking? Should we be worried? IMHO Some stores didn't have enough Trespassing and some had some.. mixed bag .Here is Asheville,Fye had the most stock,Barnes and Noble still had a couple of copies,Walmart had a couple. So I guess it depends on where you live. Can always get trespassing on ITUnes ,AO, or Amazon. I think It's all gone really well, Much better than for the FYE album. That album had loads of first week sales and many of us were upset for the same reason..LOL Another point ,I can't believe the PR,It's been OTT awesome, Adam is everywhere.

On Twitter, there's a lot of excitement over this guy that wrote the review for Emusic, and rated Trespassing 5 stars. Is this person important? Or known as a harsh critic? Or influential etc,? Just wondering if anyone knows...

Store stocking levels for Trespassing have been pretty good.
Just for scale -- there are about 3,850 Walmart stores with music departments -- they got from 13 to over 60 Trespassing CDs. The stocking level would be based on a number of factors including sales of similar product in each specific store, sales of Adam product in each specific store, and so on.
IF the average Walmart got 14 CDs that is 53,900 CDs (My guess is that Walmart had well over 100K CDs in stores). Now add in all the other retailers -- and there were probably 200,000 CDs in stores.
Plus about 50% of week one Trespassing sales will be download or shipped from retailers like Amazon.

Plus, he is usually doesn't review pop music -- I am most impress by the fact that he previewed and reviewed the album. For camparison, he gave Madonna MDNA 3 stars. www.emusic.com/listen/#/music-news/review/album/adam-lambert-trespassing-deluxe-version/
