So where is NCOE? I'll readily admit I don't really understand the numbers thread but I'm not seeing adds for it and I'm not hearing it on the radio. I don't see people here talking about hearing it. I'm ready to toss in my media forms/requests this week because I feel alone out here in my enthusiasm for the song and for requesting it. Maybe I'll just stop and wait to see if any fan enthusiasm appears after the undoubtedly awesome video. [shrug] It's happening. RabbitRabbit posts request reminders every day as does Q3 on the first page. I don't think it has been released to L.A. radio yet, tbh, but I still request a few times a week in varying capacities (text, Twitter, MediaBase). They are taking their sweet time with it. Impact date is still a week from Monday. I think they are focusing on album now with NCOE being performed for the promo and the video will likely coincide with the impact date. Large stations such as KTU in New York are spinning it quite often. He is getting traction with these radio concerts (or paying forward, who knows). I'm trying not to worry about it. The focus was solely on the album last week and NCOE is still showing in the Top 100 overall. I hope once all this foundation is laid, they will push it heavy starting the last week in May. |

NCOE is moving faster and has a better AI than BTIKM did comparing the same time frames. People (outside of a few in the standom) are very positive about it and the young kids at the concerts like it! Adam killed it on Idol and the song is still moving up on iTunes. Adam is doing some big radio shows this week and the impact date for HAC and CHR is one week away! It looks as if the video is going to be A-MA-ZING! Everything is falling into place, keep requesting!  |

And I think the video will generate more buzz and play. I hear the song all the time on the two SF stations I listen to. So much that I don't bother mentioning it anymore. |

Susie, Tigerlily, NoAngel Okay, good encouragement. Won't toss the request matrix yet. Just feeling like a (less attractive) version of one of those worker bees in the NCOE vid lately.
Worst case scenario - we can start a much more fun religion/cult/whatever than Scientology using Tigerlily's avi as a symbol. Adam pretty much gets all my disposable income now, he has a positive message, great hair - and you know he'd dig having his own temple - though I'm a little worried about what the stained glass would look like.

Naked Love is awesome on the album and even better live, and judging by crowd response yesterday, it is a fast favorite even on first listen. I'm sure Adam and his people are gauging crowd reaction to songs and this may factor into single choice down the road. I thought it was telling that Adam intro'd NL using the "revealing yourself honestly" PG interpretation. Smart. Yeah, I would love for Naked Love to be a single, it's just so fun and catchy. But I might be dreading it a little, because you fans are just going to go up in arms about another single being released that Adam didn't write : But then again, I think Benny Blanco maybe like Dr. Luke. You don't put him on your album unless there's a guarantee that his song will be a single. Naked Love has become one of my favorite songs on the album. Only Kickin In' and PTL have more plays. My initial reaction to the snippet was 'generic pop' and it may be but it's such a happy infectious song. I love it! And live? With the Crystal Waters, 100% Pure Love bridge? Irresistible! Adam has gotten so many stellar reviews about this album and the songs he wrote, I think the fans who would be upset if it's the next single need to get over it  . A good song is a good song and Naked Love is a perfect summer song, IMO. |

Haha!! Love that analogy, but what if we've been the dutiful worker drones these past two+ years? The Man (radio) keeps us anaesthetized on force-fed generic pop with no hope for escape. Now we're on the verge of breaking outta this music prison where we've had to play by everyone else's rules. Our hero is staging a rebellion. We need to wipe the sleep out of our eyes and break out too.  |
