Even though Adam's #4 overall on itunes (pop chart doesn't matter), it seems he'll still debut at #1 or #2 on Billboard, with a really good chance of #1 right? So when NCOE goes for adds, it'd be stupid of PDs to continue to ignore the #1 album in the country by a current pop star? What reason would they have of not spinning a Bruno Mars-penned song? Fingers crossed that Adam has a radio hit again this cycle.
If you look at, for example, The Wanted, at Kiss 108, the audience is spazzing out when they're singing "Glad You Came." Maybe they don't care about the band (and what's this, the new boy bands don't dance, they just jump up and down, not in unison), but they know the song. The same audience responds really well to WWFM, but I can imagine the rest of the songs going right over their head.
When the audience doesn't know the songs at these types of radio concerts, though, Adam's such a strong performer that maybe they get interested. And I think it helps that they have large screens that show close-ups of him.
Cool KTU outfit - I heard the station advertising Adam and the concert when I was in a grocery store today.

Tresspassing sat at Number 1 for a couple of days. Before the album was released, I doubt that any of us had ever dreamed that it would reach number one on Itunes, much less that it had a chance to be number one on the Billboard charts. It has been an amazing week. Adam and his music has exceeded all my expectations. The critics love him. His American Idol performance was amazing. The radio concerts are reaching new fans. The NCOE video teaser promises an epic new video. WOW!!! I want that Billboard #1, but I want the fandom to celebrate the now. Everyone has done such a great job in supporting Adam. You guys here at ATOP, the twitter army, and all of you who lurk but add to the support, I just want to say--- Job,well done peeps. You guys are awesome. Salute to all of Adam's awesome fans.  Love this gif. I don't remember who I stole it from. Rheimer? |

The tweet earlier where someone said there was a stream of people leaving after Adam was done just gave me flash backs to the AI tour! ;D  Actually, I didn't walk out on Kris, but my mind was definitely elsewhere~ ;D |

That's hilarious ! Was it 'hey, we've been meaning to get this' or 'i keep hearing about her'? Adele is great - so it's all good. (Next week would've been even better but 'meh' - at least he has good taste and didn't bring home that Glee cd (or LMFAO)  .Seriously..
Of course when I tried to explain that it would have been better to wait until Monday, I got the incredulous look.... |

I gifted two copies tonight...heehee...I've never bought more than one copy of an album in my life...I am obsessed...I now have 5 copies in my possession (and yes, I got the autographed one from
Walmart) and I have gifted three. And all I can say is........... yes, I'll get more...................RL is a bitch but I am a survivor...

Fingers crossed that Adam has a radio hit again this cycle. ....... Trespassing is almost certain to be #1 this week. I would put the odds over 90%. I am absolutely certain that NCOE will get airplay and will be a hit. And, yes, having a hit album will help Adam get airplay. |
