I agree - phew! - what a bert-iful weekend it's been.
Between yet another fabulous NZGT party last night and then a second, WONDERFUL session at The Flea this morning with Liam, Aidan and other NZGT members, followed by a fun lunch with y'all, I'm absolutely knackered tbh and heading off to bed very shortly.
Just a short story about this morning in the sound booth at The Flea. Liam said on air that he wanted to know where everyone was listening from.
This sound booth is pretty tiny - about the size of maybe an average bathroom (for a bad comparison). The first time we all piled in there a few weeks ago, there were NINETEEN people crammed into that space - all bopping and energised from the massive Failure to Launch party that we held the night before. The feeling in that room that day was something so adamazingly special, that no words can describe it. It was unique and I feel blessed to have been a part of that experience.Anyhooo... this morning I think we had around eleven people there, so def not as *erm* ~cosy as previously...lol - but still fabulous. So... Liam asks where everyone is listening in from. I'm sitting about 3 feet away from Liam and eri9 is standing directly behind Liam's chair. I'm looking directly at them. Liam starts reading out different locations and then says Erica .... My brain processed the name and I just thought nah, there are many gals in the world called Erica.... right? But then he continued with the rest of the tweet. Eri eri9@liammcewan I'm listening from behind you in the flea studio!!!! Hahaha!!! As that sunk in and the absurdity of the whole thing became clear, I started to laugh, and laugh, and laugh. Liam was still on air and I was trying to stifle it... but then eri started to laugh too and both of us ended up hysterical, which made Liam start to crack up as well because we were directly to his left and behind him. I simply couldn't stop and that set eri9 off and the two of his ended up screaming with laughter and both crying - which in turn set the rest off the booth off. Thank God Liam had put another song on by that stage, because the whole booth was ~heaving with laughter at the two of us. Seriously, we couldn't stop and it took me probably a full twenty minutes to calm down and stop wiping the tears out of my eyes - I just kept erupting every time I thought of it. I've also got to just say that Liam (in particular) and Aidan are probably the most incredible 16 and 14 year olds that I have EVER met. I said to their Mum today how proud I was of them, even tho they weren't mine and she laughed, but understood. OMG, I am so berted out right now... when I finally got home, I had to catch up on nearly 24 hours of 'stuff' and that included 117 pages of Atop, which is insane, but I just cannot not read every post.... albeit speed reading tho :  Must, must, must attempt to get back to real life tomorrow...but, but *lower lip trembles* it's so damn hard with so many Adam goodies being flung around non-stop. *also forms prayer circle and crossed fingers for #1 on billboard* night all... |

Just finished watching the KISS concert. Despite sound issues, he and the band look and sound awesome. Kickin In live is really really good and I can tell Tommy Joe has been practicing. He sounded really awesome!
