First of all, the huge question of Q3's about what success is ( for us, for Adam) may or may not develop into a discussion, but Adam may have given sort of an answer here: [soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/scorpios4music/2012-05-26-q108-with-adam[/soundcloud] It's around the 31st, 32nd minute and Adam is telling his story how we are all the same , and then he gets this question: Lary Flick: It sounds like you're still battling internally or at least reconciling internally with the fact that not everybody gets it? Adam: No, they don't, and actually it used to kind of frustrate me, but I think I'm at the point now when A) I have accepted it and I'm moving forward, or B) I wanna use it, I wanna use the fact that not everybody gets it, I think that's my story, is that not everybody gets it, and that's life...I hope that a young 17 year old gay guy can get from listening to my album is Oh, they don't get him, they don't get me either...THAT IS SUCCESS. BEING ABLE TO PINPOINT THE PROBLEM AND A) ACCEPT IT AND MOVE FORWARD REGARDLESS OF IT OR B) USE IT FOR YOUR OWN ADVANCEMENT, REVERSE THE ROLES: THE PROBLEM STOPS BEING A HINDRANCE AND BECOMES AN INCENTIVE FOR SOMETHING GREAT. A Thank you Well put. Thank you for posting this. Also, I related to Adam saying "I want to reflect the journey not the destination." (32.50) Many years ago my mother sent me a picture of my young daughter walking on a path with Mt Jefferson (oregon) in the background with the quote "The Journey is the goal" Adam with all his evolved wisdom seems to know this now. His success is : opening up about his journey, and sharing it with others (and we are so lucky to be along for the ride).

Fight back with a triple play: 1. Support J C Penney by buying a JCP gift card. 2. Support LGBT youth by donating the gift card to a non-profit group that supports them (such as 1 in 10?). 3. Enjoy a tax deduction! :D

Momtomany, thanks for your great essay. I love that this sort of sharing is taking place on the "dark" thread. The thread is really not that dark and it can be very personal. I have read it all but haven't posted yet myself. I recommend trying it. It's way toward the beginning of the all the Daily News threads. www.adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=daily&action=display&thread=895&page=1

I copied this from google translate:
How was your first meeting with Brian and Roger?
Our first meeting was held during the final of the U.S. edition of "Idol" in 2009. But so much was going on, that does not even have time to think: Oh God, I'm on stage with a group of Queen! This realization struck me somehow, though I knew it was a great moment. I do remember how Brian came up to me and said: You know what? I woke up this morning, I looked at the rising sun and thought how beautiful it is to live! And I thought: What a great guy! What is remarkable, positive energy! We had a great performance together and immediately knew that it would be nice to make a future cooperation.
