Been watching the various videos all day - he looked like he was having so much fun up there - I had a wonderful time and I wasn't anywhere near SanFran. What a kick he is to watch - not just dialing it in. love, love, love it I don't think Adam even knows how to put on a bad show. Even on an off night (I think there were a couple of dates during the idol tour that he was sick) Adam always sounds amazing. So mildly jet lagged and knowing he is getting on a plane the next day to go back to London, no problem for Mr. lambert. He does it all, with style and fierceness. I cannot wait for videos from the Queen shows. So excited!

WWFM spun 40 minutes after NCOE :-/ Whoa! Chicago NCOE 2nd spin less than an hour after WWFM... :D Oh, this is all good! It is excellent to have more than one song at a time that DJ's want to play. That is when I started noticing Lady Gaga, when Bad Romance came out, Poker Face was still getting played. Not a bad thing for an artist.

Agree! I just read the whole translated interview, and I must say the English version made Adam sound confident and genuine, and funny! Possibly, the original Polish wording had some bites of sarcasm and mockery which would likely paint him as "over-cocky and full of himself" instead of "authentic and confident". But, ya know what? either way it really doesn't matter; like Adam said in this very interview: you can write or say anything about him. People are drawn to sweetness as much as intrigued by eccentric and "cockiness". Either you end up liking it or.....not! Great exposure on the biggest Polish Web info site!I can assure you that there is nothing in Polish version that make him look bad. Some people in Polish fandom are making drama out of nothing. I really hate when something like this happens - it make me look like an idiot by proxy here. Thank you! Don't fret about it! Different people, different take.

WWFM spun 40 minutes after NCOE :-/ I have yet to figure out why spinning a top 10 song which has never gone off most HAC playlists in 3 years time is a bad thing. Yes we want people to know that he has new music but we also want people to remember him and WWFM is a keeper. I think voting WWFM down in these poles sends the message that we don't like the artist.

The reason we play this U Mix It game is because NCOE needs the spins to move it up on the HAC chart. This station likes to space the spins from one artist. If WWFM gets spun instead it is taking away a spin from NCOE possibly. NCOE needs the spins now, WWFM doesn't.

It says it can only be streamed to Canada. Did it work for anyone in the U.S? It links to the same interview from Canada, the one I posted the photobucket version

I love this. Who else has fans that try to 'fix' things for him? (AND USUALLY CAN GET IT BROUGHT TO SOMEONES ATTENTION) Lol. Sorry I found it amusing/sweet.it reminds me of a certain other idol runner-up fanbase who doesn't have a very nice reputation within the industry. IMO it's not the fans' job to "fix" things for Adam. He has a team of people looking out for him.
Oh I agree he has 'people' but I don't know any other fandom that truely "has their back". Just thinking outloud :D

I retested with "please play never close our eyes'". This time I got: "Your msg has been sent to the studio". Just wondering, if in the two and a half years since Z100 added and played WWFM, all the Adam fans have chronically aged? [snicker] I know I'm two years older than I wuz two years ago. ;D

Long-ass concert ramblings....scroll is your friend!
Since noangel reported from the VIP section at Summerthing, I decided I should report from where us peons were sitting. Haha!
Momtomany, didilynn and I arrived with didi's two daughters about 9:30 and threw our blankets down about 25 feet from the front. There were quite a few people already there filling in the front. The weather was incredible for a summer day in SF! A perfect way to spend a Sunday! We brought food and drink and just relaxed, enjoying the weather and visiting with old friends that by now, we had met quite a few times.
We were soooo excited that we seemed to be there early enough to hear Adam and the band sound check but that never happened. They were either there really early in the AM or they didn't soundcheck at all, which seems unlikely. Maybe someone else knows about this? All the other bands sound checked.
Things were going along splendidly for most of the afternoon, but as it got closer to Adam's set time, things started getting scary. I know others have commented in the past on the danger that can be associated with being in the pit at a concert but I have never experienced anything but respect from my fellow concert-goers.
Well, as it got closer to 3:30, people started migrating to the front and those of us sitting on blankets had to either get up or be trampled. Most of us just packed up and moved forward so we wouldn't have hordes of people fill in right in front of us. Some people, however, chose to try to "protect their turf", left their blankets spread out and began fighting with people who wanted to move in front of them. It got really nasty. There was yelling and pushing a plenty, to my amazement.
The concert however was incrediblel!! As when I saw Adam at Jimmy Kimmel, I just gasped when he first walked out on stage. He was so gorgeous that it was almost unbearable. Such a superstar presence!!
Adam was SO joyful and was so engaged with the band and the audience as he sang. His joy of performing just exudes from his every pore, and it made me HAPPY! What a difference between Adam's performance and the others before him. They were all pretty good by the way, but he is in a class of his own when it comes to talent and stage presence. I saw a couple of members of the other bands standing on the side of the stage observing while Adam was performing, by the way.
As you can see from the crowd shots, the crowd was very diverse. Where we were sitting there were young kids, men, MANY teens. The response to Adam's music was amazing. If there seemed to a lack of dancing and jumping up and down in some areas, the screams more than made up for it. The sound was a bit loud where we were standing (much too close to the speakers), and Adam's voice was not nearly as prominent as I would have liked given the poor sound system, but I was close enough to take in all the glorious details of his presence and got to enjoy the thrill of making eye contact with him as he sang to us.
I think our entire group almost fainted when Adam was singing Shady and took his glasses off. You would think he had stripped naked on stage by the reaction around me. As he peeled off his glasses, his eyes were exposed in all their gloriousness. BEAUTIFUL!!!! I sound like a complete dork but it was amazing!!!! Cannot explain the experience coherently.
I LOVE AFL!!! That is all....
Missed talking to some ATOPers after the concert unfortunately as our group had to rush out. Sorry, guys! See you next time!
