For those who haven't received their FAULT magazines yet -- I e-mailed the publisher, Nick Artsruni, and received this reply: We have no intention of refunding orders that have already been dispatched and are under no legal obligation to do so. I'd like to reiterate my sincere apology that your copies have not reached you thus far. I hope that USPS do eventually get their act together and send you your products which were dispatched to you some time ago.
We have offered to supply replacements free of charge to customers who have yet to receive their copies on the basis that those customers cover postage costs for them, If you would like to arrange for this service at a later date, please let me know and I will organise this for you personally. So in other words ... no refunds, and tough shit unless you cough up another $10 on top of the $50 already paid. I had a reply composed that offered receive your copies speedily, at my address (in the UK) and to bring them along to our Queenbert night; that I'm still prepared to do, but I had a sudden brainwave . The Fault office is less than half an hour from Hammersmith by tube 8-). Provided all the emails confirming names and orders are sorted, why not offer to save them the bother of packing & go mob-handed, to pick them up ???. I don't know who's still waiting but I'm sure between you, you can get stuff to almost anyone. Can you imagine Nick's (he's the Publishing Director btw) face when confronted by Bamafan and JustKaren For as much as he has received in printing, postage, and handling fees for the undelivered magazines, he should offer to hand-deliver them to us in Hammersmith! Should we suggest that on their Facebook page?

justgill Are you implying that Karen and I are badasses? LOL I'm not worrying about it anymore. needacoke said she'd give me hers if I wanted cuz she wasn't that impressed with it and she loves me. lol. I'm not paying the 7 pounds and don't plan on making an hour roundtrip to their offices (which would prob eat up the 7 pounds and interfere with my siteseeing time) The darn thing may still turn up in my mailbox one day. It would be fun though to pop in and surprise Nick. Karen, on the other hand, has more invested and she just might entertain your idea. LOL. bamafan as if : . I just knew that both of you were going to be in 'the right place at the right time' as you might say . (Travelcard in place for sightseeing negates the cost.) Quite honestly, there's nothing to stop one or two people who might have the impulse, to collect on everyone's behalf. I do understand what you're saying though and they very well might turn up. There was just so much moaning at the end of yesterday's thread, I had to try didn't I : .

nope... ??? they are talking about the requests that were stipulated in the concert contract. They are saying that the organizer said this about Queen: "Their new frontman Adam Lambert is one of the most demanding stars. But since this is a charity concert and Queen has lost their frontman to AIDS they have reduced their demands".... no other meaning here... I think they misinterpreted what they've heard ...He probably asked for water and veggies... ;D Guys, I think they are talking about fees? It says "...Their new frontman Adam Lambert is one of the most demanding stars. But since this is a charity concert and Queen has lost their frontman to AIDS they have reduced their demands..." I think what they mean is that Adam by himself is one of the highest paid stars to perform? And since it's a charity concert, Queen reduced their demanded fees, with Adam... no, it is in the context of all kinds of special arrangements, like Elton wanted flowers of certain kind in all rooms, etc...

Another interpretation might be that he's a star whose singing is very demanding (as in incredible)? Just a guess, since we know he's so low maintenance. nope... ??? Отдельно Ирина Ковальчук рассказала про райдер группы Queen. Их нового фронтмэна Адама Ламберта она назвала одной из самых требовательных звезд. Но так, как концерт благотворительный и Queen в свое время потеряли своего лидера из-за СПИДа, то райдер свой артисты значительно ужали. they are talking about the requests that were stipulated in the concert contract. They are saying that the organizer said this about Queen: "Their new frontman Adam Lambert is one of the most demanding stars. But since this is a charity concert and Queen has lost their frontman to AIDS they have reduced their demands".... no other meaning here... I think they misinterpreted what they've heard ...He probably asked for water and veggies... ;D Google translate: Separately, Irina Kovalchuk said of the rider of Queen. Their new frontman Adam Lambert, she called one of the most demanding stars. But as a charity concert and Queen at the time had lost their leader because of AIDS, the rider a much uzhali artists. The contract "rider" could still be talking about fees. I think. Maybe. I am only guessing that the forfeit fees need to be in writing for future tax purposes.
