The US singer is stepping into the shoes of late singer Freddie Mercury to front the band when they play in Europe this summer and and said rehearsals are going well. He told TV show BBC Breakfast: ''It's such a great challenge, I'm so excited. We've been rehearsing for the last few weeks and it's actually surprisingly comfortable.'' He added original guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor have been very welcoming and supportive. He said: ''It could have been a very intimidating situation but Brian May and Roger Taylor are total class acts, very down to earth and we're having a good time playing great music.'' more

I have uploaded my videos for Adam’s KRZ Summer Smash Concert in Wilkes-Barre to the following YouTube playlist. I had played with the video & audio options but forgot to check out how the zoom feature works beforehand. So, since the videos are all from a distance rather than close up, the stage lighting makes for a backlighting effect. I found out later that the Q3HD has a setting for “Concert Lighting” that would have alleviated the stage lighting effect. I’ll try this option at the WinStar Concert in July. (Going with my sister – this is her first Adam concert!) But omg, the sound quality is so good! I want to try overlaying my sound on top of better video. From what I’ve seen, the TALCvids have the best image quality. Can someone put me in touch with the right person so that I can ask permission to use their videos? And I’m working on uploading high quality mp3, m4a, and wav audio files of the Gaylord Freshtival Concert to MediaFire. I’ll post when they are ready. I’ll do the same for the Wilkes-Barre & Six Flags concerts when I can get them done. (That’s it till the WinStar concert.) The MOV video files are too large for the free MediaFire account, so I’ll see if I can convert them to a smaller format. I also discovered that the Q3HD software has a feature for outputting the video files at a higher audio volume, so I will try that with the Six Flags videos. |

But his little vocal chords started developing and soon after he grew up to be one of the most successful participants on American Idol to date. Also he is perhaps the most successful non-winner the show has had, but regardless of record sales Adam has always been quite a flamboyant dresser and he is seemingly taking in his rock styles more and more as he gets more comfortable in his groove of Rock ‘N’ Roll! Even now as he gears up to play Queen’s Freddie Mercury on tour, he is getting edgier and edgier with each passing day. Since being openly gay, the singer has said that it is a strugle to make it in the music world. But, one thing is for certain, regardless what negativity has come his way in the industry or otherwise, he remains true to himself and his style. Lets face it when Adam sang at his graduation back in 2000, he took the house down (even though he was in his red graduation gown and had blonde hair). But then when he auditioned for American Idol he already had a bit of an edge, even if he was wearing less makeup and than he tends to now.  A little later on and the star has been signed on by 19 in a joint venture with RCA the star produced “For Your Entertainment” his style took a turn for the pointy when sharp studs were affixed to a cross body shoulder embellishment and other accessories were used like a silver cane, a corset, and a full-on living jungle-madness snake. The look was closer to who Adam Lambert is now but his style has changed even more over the years than could be predicted at the time. Skip ahead to June 2012 and Adam is wearing suits and has pops of blond back in his hair. The one factor that has remained is the dark colors of his wardrobe, his nail polish, and the leather he loves to wear, but he enjoys the comfort and fit of a stylish suit coat. In the last month Lambert has worn a navy jacket with leather detailing, a Navy jacket with black latex pouring down the shoulders (my favorite) and a black tux jacket with leather contrast lapels.  more

Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes! I'm in Bangladesh currently, and I've been lurking here every day to keep up with Adam's comings and goings. I'm heading to Vietnam tonight and will be constantly on the hunt for wifi so I can keep reading atop and, I hope, see some Queenbert vids before too long.
