Yes but YellowCard are n.1 now :( VOTE VOTE VOTE Still catching up with the thread but I just voted and Adam is ahead but about 100 votes;-) www.magnetmagazine.com/2011/03/18/what-record-are-you-most-looking-forward-to-next-week-14/On the SG 16 rating for the DVD/CD I actually think it depends upon the family/viewer. For example, I am sending it to my daughter-in-law who came with me to the concert, but she has five kids (four under 12). I don't know what her values are in relation to any swearing in front of the kids so I will put a sticky on it that says I think it is for mature audience (language) on the first viewing and then she and her husband can decide from there. Since I won't be there when they watch there is no way they will know when the motherfuckers and shit bombs will happen. They are fine with it themselves, but as mentioned, with all those kids it is not my place to decide. So yes I think a little "heads-up" is OK... Back to reading the tread ;D Still catching up on thread in between phone calls from kids checking in. I voted again and dang you are correct, Adam is FINALLY in the lead!!!! Hope he stays on top :D

My CD has been shipped by Amazon!!! Just got the email! I can't wait...squeeeee... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I've had mine from AO, but got email 12 minutes ago that Amazon shipped the spare plus my Grammy CD. Yeah! I'm more comfortable now that I'll have spare plus I downloaded the CD to my ITunes then uploaded to my IPod because I am tech challenged. Now if I could just figure out how to upload the remix that is sitting in my email. I bought it from AO, but have to re-buy from ITunes when it arrives there because I am such a doofus. The AO Remix should be in your music folder on your computer. Right click it and go down to Open With then select I Tunes. Your Itunes will open automatically and start playing it. At least that's what I did and it worked. ;D

Ohhh...getting angry, really should stop reading Mj's. They're debating on whether playing an instrument equals a real artist/musician versus someone who just sings. And someone made this statement, "I would think the idea is that to write a song you have to play an instrument of some type. Anybody can sing." I don't know why, but this just really get on my nerves. Don't know why people equate someone who strum a few chords on a guitar, or play a few notes (and not all that good if I might add) as some serious musicians. And I really don't know why they seem to think that you can't write songs if you can't play an instrument, and that you automatically can write if you can play an instrument. I mean there's so many computer programs out there that can bring your musical vision to life, without you knowing how play, or even know how to read music. I put these talentless people in the same category as all those who know what the coach should have done to win the game on Saturday or Sunday. They can do nothing, therefore they know everything. I would have loved to see Pavarotti strum his guitar while he sang.

I'm a few pages back, and you all probably have moved on by now, but just have to say- anyone can sing, anyone can play an instrument, anyone can dance, anyone can act, anyone can take a photograph, anyone can paint a canvas, anyone can sculpt, anyone can write poetry, anyone can write a novel...
But how well??? And, in addition to having great technical skill, who has the added vision/emotional content/connectivity (whatever it actually is) to stand apart, transcend the expected ???
For that matter, anyone can teach, anyone can heal, anyone can do engineering, anyone can give financial advice.... But how well??? And with the touch of an artist???
I'm beating this "anyone" argument with a dead horse!!!! Hahahah! In all walks of life we can say "anyone," but only a few people are truly exceptional. Not everyone recognizes them, but there are individuals in every field who have the skill and "it" factor to turn their work into a kind of art. It is a joy to behold. It is a joy to watch Adam turn his work into art!

Yes the bold part especially. I am usually skimming through and when I see a vote post I click to vote but otherwise not always a good fan for finding where to vote in a time crunch...
