I've decided that I'd like to go to our local Gay bar here in Hayward, "The Turf Club" (they have a huge following in the East Bay & SF), to see if they would like to have a showing of Adam's "Glam Nation Live" for possibly 2 charities! First, to benefit one of Adam's charities & second, to benefit one of our local charities "The Lighthouse" which helps a lot young Gay people in the community! They sponsor a "Gay Prom Night" here in Hayward every year! Here are some pictures from one - Attendees being welcomed by the community ~  More Attendees ~   The East Bay Community & SF Gay Freedom Band Welcoming them ~   Trying to block the "haters" ~  And my friends - Skip & Jon (love them to pieces  ) ~  I just need to know about the legalities of doing so, so that I don't infringe on any copyrights - advice please - if you know!!!! Thanks in advance! |

Since today's thread has been kinda all over the place, I figured I'd put my two cents in. One thing Atop has taught me is a new appreciation for the alphabet... so, BB'S, OIC AFL'S GB too, BTW  ROTFLMAO! IJLYSM, ATOPERS! LOL  ETA: OK, I got this thing started..who's gonna play??? 8-) 8-) JFC! HBIC FTW! This is why we can sit and watch endless videos in Finnish in pure bliss without understanding a word. Anyone else watching RuPaul's Drag Race? Without any spoilers, Raja tore it up tonight. Wonder if Adam inspired his performance?
The queens had to record a song and then lipsynch it. If anyone wonders how much a producer can manipulate a singer's voice and make it sound better, watch this show. The queens in the studio CAN'T SING. But, the version of their singing they lipsynched to sounded 1000% better. Proof positive that with the right sound equipment these days you can make ANYONE sound good. Makes me think of the dog singing on YT with autotune.

The "World Famous" Turf Club, as they call it, is one of the oldest gay bars in the SF Bay Area, and is a champion for charities! Still, I need some help with the legalities of it! ETA ~ They have every Adam song available on their regular + internet Juke box! ;D |
