Still rising on UK iTunes - #25 now!
It seems odd to me though that within one day it has to make top 10 on iTunes to be played on radio in UK.

I've seen Brian spelled "Brain" many times here & on twitter. Is that being done purposely? ;D Cause it makes perfect sense.
Since the standard version of Trespassing is what's selling now in AU it does appear to be non-fans or casual fans because we core fans always go for the deluxe!

Yeh, I haven't seen many mentions of his Queen experience here in the States. I haven't looked too hard though -- been too busy flailing. I do find that I'm ready to hear Adam doing his own stuff. I'm glad to see that Roger and Brian are happy with the collaboration and also happy to hear that they recognize that Adam has a thriving career of his own that he needs to concentrate on promoting. I too would like to see a few more Queen shows but not as a tour -- planned events would be very exciting. I would hope that all that enjoyed this latest collaboration with Queen would now come out and support Adam here when he starts doing his one-offs with Trespassing. At least this Queen phase has shown those who watched that Adam is GREAT live -- I think he's at his best when he's on the stage.
Stupidly, I was quietly very happy to read that Sauli is in London.......geez, can I even get a life!

At the press conference in Poland Adam was asked which he liked better: playing with Queen or doing his own music. He replied that they were totally different experiences. Perfect answer, Adam.
After having watched Queenbert in all its incarnations for the past week, I decided to check in on Trespassing videos just for a change. I did so with a bit of trepidation, wondering if the music would hold up after listening to the classics from Queen. I was surprised, and am very happy to report, they more than hold up. They are wonderful.
The songs and Adam's performances ARE very different in feel and sound. To me, Queen-Adam is tough, fierce, theatrical, and a singer for an incredible rock band. While Adam is up front and very much in your face, it is in service to Queen. Very generous. I also get the "feeling" of a staged "show", a rock opera as it were.
Trespassing-Adam is playful, joyous, infectious, silly, super-sexy, deliriously happy to be sharing HIS music. The music itself sits so well in his voice and in his body. Adam is also unmistakably HBIC. He is orchestrating, monitoring and leading everything that is happening on stage.
Two very different concerts. Two very different Adams. One sublime performer. When you take a pause from Queenbert, jump on over to Wilkes-Barre or, one of my favorites, Shady at Freshtival.

Just a quick reference back to yesterday's discussion...
As someone who doesn't have the bandwidth (in multiple ways) to download every performance and as someone who does hear pitch problems, I really appreciate it when someone knowledgable steers me away from a subpar download or toward a really great one.
Every live performance is going to be different, that's the beauty of it, and we all know Adam can hit every note under the perfect circumstances. Live = not perfect circumstances.
I'm a fan, not a cult member, and I don't need to believe he's 100% perfect. No one is.
