I adopted a zen attitude about this phenomenon a while ago. I vote, I request, I obsess to a certain degree, but I absolutely don't angst over what does or does not happen with radio. What their thinking or motivation is, nobody knows. Adam has truly become a worldwide star, not just a personality, but a star, who deserves to be heard and appreciated. Interrupting the regular scheduled flailing to put out the list of Kiev DVDs (below). If I missed someone, please pm me. The list is in order of request and DVDs will be distributed in this order. If I don't yet have your address, I have noted that. Please pm me with address. I ordered the shipping boxes last night. Once they arrive I will hit the post office with the first batch. Again, pms will be sent when yours is mailed. Oh, and forgive the non-pristine jewel cases some of these DVDs will be in. Sorry to spam the thread, but this is a tangible way in which we can help Adam's UK radioplay and chart run. There are direct, significant effects of this if we can get Adam Top 10 on iTunes. This is NOT a meaningless radio poll, etc. Also, a lot of hard core fans are traveling to London or in London and not really checking in right now, so it's important we do all we can.

I donated to the Lambrits group gifting iTunes in the UK. However I was not able to set up an iTunes UK account so I could in turn be "gifted". I got to the point that I needed a UK email address, and that's where I dropped out. I tried to set up a gmail account using a UK home address but when I had to enter a UK telephone number gmail could tell that I lived in the US and kept looking for a US phone number. I used my US email address. I couldn't use the email that is connected to my US I tunes account but I have a 2nd email address so I used that. As far as the UK address I used a business address that I found on a UK site -- I think it was a restaurant. No probs. Because the download went to my hard drive, it loaded it on my Itunes that was already established on my harddrive. I guess at that point it's not interested in US or UK. In any case, it is a little confusing but don't over think it. My download was sitting in my in-box this a.m. along with a post from the gifter reminding me to download it so it would count. Wahoo! Go NCOE Go! Looks like they need more UK gifters (pretty sure they will funnel funds to you) @requestadam If you want to be a giftee, I opened a hotmail account -- location wasn't an issue, at least recently. Also if you delete your copy from itunes and empty your trash you can be gifted a second time. It won't let you buy the single yourself again unfortunately if you have previously (it will prompt you to download it again for free). Go song go! Fly high today! |
