I think this is too funny. First he berts, then he is threatened by a David Cook fan to write at least SOMETHING, even something random about his idol, and after completing this request, he is berting again.... I hope this poor chap is doing okay!

I was thinking about every discussion about Adam not only in connection with Queen. Voice is almost always a first argument, then his looks or his good nature but his music is rarely mentioned. It's just observation. I'm just wondering not criticizing Adam or fans. I want to chip in here. Adam's voice is his single most special (or, as they say in the article, "individual and characterful") attribute. It's unique, incredibly techinically sound, and the reason why 99% of us fell in love with him in the first place. Adam's looks are also pretty special. Even now that's he's dropped the painted look almost entirely and he may not be as "unique" looking as he was on idol, he's an incredibly gorgeous man, and that is very clear to many people who saw him for the first time in NYE. Adam's good nature is yet another special attribute of him. A personality like his is a very rare find in the world of celebs, and I think most of us realize just how lucky we are to be stanning such a sweet guy. This guy with this otherwordly voice and striking good looks is nicer than people with less than half of his talent. Adam's music...I hate to say it...is not special ("individual and characterful"). Especially the songs that have been released as singles. If I were hearing any of those singles on the radio without knowing who the singer was, I would say, "oh look, more generic pop music. Next." Somehow, his singles have hidden all that we find special in his voice. They are not new or interesting at all. Rather than embracing his uniqueness that earned him so many fans on Idol, they mask it in an attempt to get him to blend in with previously successful pop stars on Top 40 radio. Many of his album tracks are a huge step above his singles, but even they don't completely highlight exactly what we love about our guy. I've grown to like most of his music, but for me, a good number of songs weren't love at first sight. I'm not even someone who hates pop music - I just feel that with Adam's songs in particular, there's a disconnect between the quality of the songs and the quality of the voice singing them. I don't care what direction genre-wise Adam decides to go with A3 - it can be rock, pop, funk, whatever. I just hope that his music is that which makes him stand above other modern singers; not blend in with them.

I think it's Shoshanna's hand. She twitted that pict.
But that flexible thumb and the black nailpolish looks familiar - but who knows

Dr. Brian May @drbrianmay 11s Not sure if this will be readable in the Twittersphere, but this is quite a well honed piece in the Telegraph. Bri Adam's hand?

nica575, Adam has got all of these qualities, he's got more than enough character and he's an individualist for sure. I am one of Adam's greatest fans - but not necessarily of his music. What makes his music special is he as an artist and a singer, but I don't think that his music will stand the test of time and become classics. I would buy a CD of him singing the phonebook, because he is such a gifted singer. But - and this is just my opinion - most of the songs on FYE and Trespassing don't stand out for themselves. They are only good because Adam sings them. Maybe that's because Pop is not my favourite kind of music, I'm more into Progressive Rock. A lot of the songs are too easy to digest. Take "Naked Love" - which is a wonderful, little, funny make-you-feel-good kind of song, but there's no depth to it. I know Pop doesn't have to be deep - but that's what's lacking for me in a lot of these songs. I think this is a point where I have to disagree with a lot of people here on this board. The whole article where this passage is taken from, is more than positive, actually there is a lot of praising and flailing going an - and there is only that one sentence taken out where there is a criticism of Adam. And for me this criticism is true. Don't get me wrong there are several songs which I really love (Underneath, Nirvana, Runnin...), but overall I wish for him to do a different kind of music. And I wished from the bottom of my heart that some composers or producers could channel Adam's live singing magic onto a CD, but that hasn't happened. But that's just my silly little dream!
