Excited to see what tonight brings. Of course I'll be at work but I'll be following closely! And then collecting vids afterwards!

Do you guys think TwoFux will be part of the QAL tour set? Yes. Since it is definitely an Adam song and Queen went to the bother of arranging it - I see no reason for them not to include it in the set. Just finished watching the actual broadcast - I Want It All...good performance...the mix was a little strange - Rog was slightly low in the mix - hopefully that gets corrected. The one standout thing I learned during that performance is that Tyler Warren certainly doesn't shy away from adding backing vocals...the especially higher backing vocals were definitely his. All in all good work

The new song just throwing it out there - is it a QAL single? I mean it certainly sounds Queen influenced.....Even more than just the sample..or maybe it's just Queenified. No, appears to Adam's. The writers and producers are all LA peeps queenified indeed. Yeah hearing the studio version snippet (second one) it does appear definitely to not be a Queen produced track..definitely an Adam solo...BUT enough in the more organic direction that that MAY be Brian playing at the end there. I can't tell for certain but it's definitely Brianesque. I'd have to get more of it to know for sure. If they do play it on tour, I'll probably highly appreciate the track

Outsider opinion - I don't comment on much on Adam's non-Queen side but I try to give my opinion on new music, new promotion etc. as I think it could be interesting to see an "outsider take" on it.
1st - Is that Brian? No. No chance. I see where it's coming from. There is a moment of Brian like orchestration but it's not Brian doing it. Granted it's a very small clip....
2nd - I didn't get nearly as much as the initial "Blech Fake Music" feeling I get from almost all of today's synth pop/dance club stuff that is NOT my cup...so that's a good thing to me. I don't think it's quite as far as the organic I'd want to see, but perhaps a step in the right direction of trying to merge the worlds. And for the record I *did* get that with most of Trespassing and TOH stuff whereupon I felt I was trying to look past that to hear Adam sing. Again though SMALL clip. BUT it did make me interested in hearing the whole track - so I guess it did it's job.
3rd - Two Fux? Well it's bold.
4th - Like some have said, I wonder if it's another step taken by some lately to change how the music industry works. Albums are really slowly becoming a thing of the past. It may be that for now as he explores different career choices, and striking while B&R are able to tour to keep his solo career alive by drip drabbing new songs here and there....maybe there wont be a new album for awhile but there might be 4-5 new songs over the next year or two.
5th - Dropping it while the tour is about to start is a great idea - because the tour will get him press whereupon he can mention it. I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the set ala Ghost Town, if it's adaptable. Giving Adam a "solo" moment like B&R.

We're finding out soon BUT I had a source who told me 3 songs rehearsed yesterday which are new to QAL before they wrapped up..to QAL. It's Late / Get Down Make Love / I'm In Love With My Car (Roger on vox) - I really suspected this one coming back!

I have to say he definitely has me curious...Although I had to laugh when he said that "he was not one for hyperbole" LOL. I'm also not one for liking Queen then.

^ I didn't see him or hear him. Seeing him I'm not surprised - all of the video was of the performers at the studio. Hearing him though I was surprised too. The only thing he seemed to do were a few very understated (and lowly mixed) power chords towards the end. Great cause though so I can't really knock it - just seems like a waste - you have Brian May. Use him. He could have done a nice tasteful run towards the end that would have been very nice. Ah well.

That it is...however I'm not sure it's the order....I mean the one glaring weirdness would be: doing Champions before WWRY? It does look *MOSTLY* right though. Another weird thing...Crazy Little Thing into the Drum Battle? I can't believe they'd skip LOML...OR do LOML then Crazy THEN the drum solo and then Under Pressure...ALTHOUGH it would make more sense if I'm In Love With My Car earlier. Some other Queen fans thought the TYMD or ABTD that I thought might have been '39 which would have been as strange place for it... I think it is in order because they rehearse in order. I believe the last song is ROCK _____. It is two words, I think 4 letters each. I can't match it to any Queen song so perhaps it is a cover?
Yeah I agree they usually do rehearse in order but really? Changing up WWRY/WATC to WATC/WWRY? 1986 - they added Friends will Be Friends in between the two....but even then Brian said it was a mistake - I can't see that... As for ROCK _____, there's Rock It (Prime Jive) - hardly closer material. It could be Rock Fast - shorthand for WWRY Fast version...quite a few times it was WWRY slow into WWRY fast. Highly doubtful on a cover still...though if there was one - Rock N Roll by Led Zeppelin would be up there. Roger has done that quite a few times with Spike's band and even on his tour. Hell he did in in 1998 on his solo tour the night Brian joined him so it was B&R doing Rock N Roll.
