viv .... I love you ...
you just solved a conundrum I've been in since May!
Story: I moved into a new appartment in May and with me I moved a nice picture frame with 3 photos arranged (pics perfectly fine, but I'm sick of them). So I decided I wanted an Adam trifecta (bestest idea ever, I know). You can imagine how that decision went: postpone, delay, later, wait for A3, what to choose .... OMG what will peeps think having a stranger on my wall (my mother hates the idea point blank).... soooo the frame sits there empty and lonely ...
Laughing Adam as a theme solves ALL points, gives good cheer, serves the pretty, None ever will ask why you have such a gorgeous laugh on your wall ... and it now gives me the purpose to look for my fav laughing pics ....
Thanks VIV!!
Adam was more than happy to oblige, QueeenAl!! Who could not smile seeing that gorgeous photo on your mantel? It gives me the warm fuzzies when I can help and don't even realize I'm doing so. LOL..and thank YOU. Free passes, damn. I'll take em.

VIV...Ahhh.. my sentiments, and feeling as well! He is growing his brand...and he is growing up, and I am happy that his maturity in terms of what we see on the artistic side of his life is moving with calculation. There are changes in his internal guide, ...where is it coming from? Some thoughts of mine are... the contributions from:
...the confidence boosters beyond his long time supporters,....like his friendship/mentoring/work with Brian and Roger, and Nile, ...gaining confidence and strength from having to close down a with a label and develop a start with a new label. ...hanging on, and having the emotional strength and support to climb out of some prickly spots. ...being recognized for activism, ...being responsible to, and learning from, contracts past and present, ...the management and PR teams, ...seeing some of his best friends making career and family decisions ie..Cherry's, Alisan, ...having money in the bank, and earning that money, and having prospects....
...Whatever is contributing! Glad of the evolution!
STAMPSGAL!!! I appreciate you so much! Thanks for fleshing out my post with your insights!

I guess I was always somewhat out on the fringe of people who fucking loved the AMA performance. Ok vocal could have been better - especially what we now know of his live prowess but damn that thing was pure rock and roll and put him on the map internationally in way that simply a stellar vocal would never have done. (ok dead horse has arisen letting him lay down again)... UNICEF is all kinds of wonderful and Terra's version is fab - 2x the Adam is always better than 1. I rarely hear a song I like without thinking #HWAST (how would Adam sing this) so anytime I get even a snippet colour me happy. Yeah but did you see the obstacle he had to run through. Not even the top Army Recruiters would of ran that, let alone sing simultaneously. I am surprised he had time to breathe let alone sing, their was a reason he was out of breath by the time his feet hit the ground. IMHO I thought the performance especially in that time, was ballsy to say the least. It showed alot of bravery, that and the ninja roll. I also think it exposed alot of double standards in the industry, and end of day gave Adam international attention. Other wise I don't think he would be where he is today. Compared to Gaga smashing whisky bottles, if he just sat their with some ballad. He would of got lost in the headlines with Gaga smashing whisky bottles, as just that nice gay kid from idol who happens to have a nice voice. What he did gave him the freedom to step out of the idol bubble, and become Adam Lambert. So to me it is a career defining performance, and I woulden't change it for the world.
