Tommy Joe may have made more $ if he lowered the price and went for volume ....
Well he believes he's famous enough to sell his own calendar for $50-$100 and believes his calendar with his autograph worth $100.00 & he has enough devoted fans who will just buy everything he sell. How much's Adam calendar that's sold by his fan club?
Seriously? People are spending that kind of money on a calendar of TJ? Well different strokes for different folks I guess.

$14.95 - It's hanging in my office
Like I said TJ believes he's famous enough to sell calendar for those prices.

Adam added a lot of new people to his Twitter and Instagram follow lists -- plus liked a few IG photos. Based on the timing (when people in London were sleeping), he might have returned to LA.

Slightly off topic but Tommy Joe Ratliff just announced the pre sale for his 2015 calendar. $100 for a signed one - $50 unsigned. Seems a little steep no ? I didn't pay anywhere near that for Adams - but I would have ...... My home-made Adam calendars cost much less than that. Of course, I am not marketing them or trying to make money. But, if it helps TJ pay the rent and people want to buy them, go for it. His buddy, Adam, is working with another guitarist these days. It's simple economics. If one can sell 10,000 calendars, then one can sell them for a cheaper price, pay the photographer, and still make a profit. If one only sells 100 calendars, then one has to sell them for more money each to be able to pay the photographer and still make a profit. Of course that assumes that the calendars will sell for that price. But TJR sells his 8x10 photos for $30 each and they seem to sell out very fast. From the photo sales, I think he has a very good idea of how many calendars he can sell and how much his followers will be willing to pay for them. Let's remember that during the "No Hate" photo campaign, they sold more photos of TJR than of anyone else, including people who are much more famous. TJR seems to have a number of followers, mostly younger women/teens I think, who would pay good money for photos of him. And he does need to make some money to pay the rent till A3 starts up.

You're right -- TJ seems to have some very passionate fans and in the past they have paid for his merchandise. The $100 autographed calendar is sold out. The $50 small calender/planner is still available. There is no info about how many are available of any of his items, so hard to tell how many he sold but it sold out quickly.

I wonder if Tommy well be part of A3 by the time it kicks off. I mean Adam is getting bigger and bigger every year. If Tommy is up the level Adam has reached with Queen, fine. But I don't think loyalty well be a factor any more.
